Apr 1, 2007 Aroma is slightly sweet. Flavor is that of a roasty wheatiness. I also got a little citrus. A hazy roasty golden color. Beer is dry on the palate and relatively carbonated, but still easy to drink. An average, yet pleasant beer.

Mar 29, 2007 Bomber as Morimoto Soba Ale. Poured a slightly hazy medium golden with a dusting and loose ring of white head. The aroma was quite sweet and toasty... buckwheat was a major factor with toffee and biscuity malts.. little herbal twist to it and a touch of lemon zest. Bitter buckwheat also dominated the flavor with tacky pale malt sweetness. Interesting array of flavors, but this was tough to drink much of. Prickly carbonation and herbal bitterness on the palate.. just a bit under medium-bodied. This was interesting, but I didn’t much care for it.

Mar 26, 2007 unclear amber with white head. very malty - nuts, buckwheat & fruits. Light sweet from the malts. Medium filling texture with an again pleasant slight bitter end!

Mar 25, 2007 The first thing I noticed was the texture, not the flavor, really silky mouthfeel. Good for the weather right now.. Drank this on tap, poured nice, amber, seemingly a bit cloudy. Easy drinking with a toasty malt sweetness.

Mar 23, 2007 Slight hazy golden copper with nice white head. Clear buckwheat taste. Bit sour/sweet taste with hint’s of malt, hay and fruit. Good ale, my first american buckwheat ale.

Mar 19, 2007 Pours a dark amber with a thin head. Medium bodied, buckwheat is evident along with toasted pale malt, hoppiness, slight yeasty fruitiness and a tasty lingering finish.
