The 650ml bottle (Premier) pours a nice-looking fuzzy burnt amber with foamy dense head and very interesting glass laciongs. Looks great! Aroma is warmly spicy (either its the funky grains or perhaps phenols of piespice, clove, pepper) over lemony citrus and fruits like peach and dry apricot and sweet blood orange. Taste follows aroma, with great balance between spice and that comely fruit, and very lovely mouthfeel. A lot going on for a simple summer beer worth sessioning. MJGG (411), Montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Pours a slightly hazy light honey gold with a 2 finger off white-orange head that has good retentnion. Aroma is citrus, toasted grain, prairie flowers, spice, sweet grain, a little sorghum and hints of miltigrain bread. Flavor is nutty, toasted grain, citrus, sorghum, spice, lots of grass, some fruity notes. Finish is fruity and mildly bitter with some mineral notes. Palate is thin with a sort of foamy feel and a slightly oily finish. Overall this is a decent grainy tasting beer, not something that I would be likely to buy too often though. brewski519 (403), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA

Aroma of citrus, hops and spice - nice taste of orange with some lemon hints along with hops and some coriander. This beer was a pleasant surprise. thebeertourist (2777), Oslo, Norway

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 13, 2009 Pours hazy gold with translucent white head. Aroma is yeasty and smells like normal Japanese crap. The taste however is a bit of a welcome surprise. Pretty smooth and mellow, slightly hoppy. Lacks the typical carbonated taste common with Japanese macros. Lightly nutty. A good light beer with some unique flavors yespr (12018), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 5, 2009 Nice golden, light orange / mandarin wafts. Very subtle flavours. Quite spritzy and a litte herbal note twinges with the biscuit malts and light hop finish. Ok but underwhelming compared with other Rogue offerings
