PJClarke (610), London, Greater London, England Mar 13, 2009 Pale, refreshing golden ale. Rich orange with a delicate and puffy head of a creamy hue. Roasty and toasty on the nose. Cereals prevail over fruity hops and very sweet aromas; well rounded. In the mouth it is sweet with airy cereals. Quite light fruitiness here, along the lines of lychees and clementines. Thick and smooth but light from its foaminess.
Really refreshing and balanced, holding some interesting fruit notes. Summery and fresh, smooth and light. Suited to hot weather and salty snacks. bluevegie (2169), Perth, Australia Mar 13, 2009 Slightly hazy, straw coloured body with a short white head. Smells a bit yeasty but could that be the Soba also. Medium body, light carbonation, dont really notice the hops. I thought this was interesting osu97gp (168), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Feb 27, 2009 Pours a hazy amber color with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, nuts, and honey. Flavor is lacking, but is mostly of wheat. Pretty good beer, but is missing something. iamqueensblvd (178), , Iowa, USA Feb 25, 2009 Poured a very hazy amber color with a thick white head. Light nutty taste and aroma. Not as sweet as expected but an all around damn good brew. carruthm (1112), Seattle, Washington, USA Feb 23, 2009 deep wheat aroma. antiseptic. highly yeasty. lots of carbonation and a golden color. taste is wheaty, nutty but fleeting. overall pretty nice. thejon375 (390), Tampa, Florida, USA Feb 22, 2009 Very tasty. Good body, great aroma and superb finish. Would recommend to anyone. cwylie0 (4), Jupiter, Florida, USA does not count Feb 16, 2009 Came in a 1pt6oz bottle of unknown age. It pours with a slight light sandy beige head that fades fairly quickly. Color is a deep crimson brown. Clarity is medium to high. The aroma is fairly alcoholic, almost with some lager-like notes. The flavor of the beer is similar to a brown ale, only a bit more roast and not as sweet. The flavor is mild, but the mouthfeel is fairly carbonated. Very drinkable due to its mildness and refreshing level of carbonation. BOLTZ7555 (1053), Phoenix, Arizona, USA Feb 13, 2009 Just wasn’t a fan of this at all!!! Straw colored pour produced a small white head. Aroma is crushed wheat, citrus, and honey. Flavor is quite grainy with an odd spicy character. Medium mouthfeel. Pass.
