When I saw this beer in the store recently I knew I must try it. I thought FOR SURE it would be good because I love almost everything rogue makes. However, I was quite dissapointed. I have such high expectations for Rogue beers that I truly was a little let down. My favorite remains Yellow Snow. This beer just didnt have one single stand out quality as far as taste, smell, or aroma. Certainly a better beer than most out there but this is just not up to par with other Rogue flavors.

Interesting hoppiness, never tasted anything like it. A little sour. Grainy, toasty, slight citrus taste. For the price, I’d choose a lot of other beers first.

Its a nice alternative to a standard ’lemony summer brew’ that a lot of breweries offer. A thin Mouthfeel for this much flavor, or vice-versa?

A real disapointment. Very little body to the flavor and watery. I like most Rogue beers and I may under-rate this one because I expect more from them. I didn’t think I’d ever say this, but with as light of a body as this beer has, you need more hops.

Not bad at all! I havent had a beer like this before. It goes like this...malt/graininess--> sweetness---> dry hops. It all rounded out very well, definitely something you should try.

Nice hybrid beer... Very drinkable. Reminded me of some summer brews I’ve had.

Disappointing effort from Rogue. Not hoppy, which left me quite happy, but lacks any semblance of wheat. Really just an ordinary ale.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 Admiral (524) - Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 5, 2002
A nice American pale, with nutty and fruity notes. Hops are restrained for a Rogue beer, but that’s actually OK.

Another excellent beer from our friends on the west coast.

On tap. Wheaty fruity taste and aroma. Not my favourite Rogue but not bad.
