Bomber at Wok N Fire. Not sure what soba is but, it it does make this a nutty lager type ale. Nothing special here but better than kirin, sapporo, and the other typical sushi bar options.

Bottle from Kris Wines London. Aroma is very basic, some corn there but not much else. Appearance slightly cloudy, some carbonation. Taste is fairly bland with some fruits lingering. Refreshing enough but miles off anything worth remembering.

Tap at C4. Unclear amber body with a medium white head. Citric, light hoppy, fruit. Nice and refreshing.

Pretty good. Pours a cloudy, light rust color with a little head and lace. The aroma has mild cereal grains and hops. The flavor is malty, a little nutty, with a mild note of vanilla at the finish.

22oz bottle. On close out at Party Source for $5.50 or so. Poured into a jar-type pint glass. Mildly hazy, mostly clear orange amber color. Good thin, kind of rocky half-finger off-white head, with good retention. Medium-bigger body. Kind of crisp, light to moderate strength carbonation, a bit of a sharp texture to it, though. More dry finish. Kind of a bigger citrusy hoppy aroma to it. Pretty spicy. Some caramel malt, some orange creme, and some wet cold noodle flavor. Not bad overall, aside from the bit of papery oxidization... More noticeable in this pilsner than in the black version I had last week. Moderate to bigger bitter taste, minimal sweet. Pretty dry. Bitter like an IPA/DIPA, tastes like 70+ IBU. Solid stuff to slip on slowly, but the age is showing a bit here, considering how hoppy this seems to be... Black version is drinking much better at the moment. I’m surprised at how assertive this one is... A little rough to drink on it’s own, but very nice to wash my sandwich down with. 6/4/7/3/13

650ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Memory banks rate. Partly because I never felt so ripped off before! Shit. That was a lot of money, for a very average beer.

Aroma is citrus hop, clove, bread and yeast. Taste is bitter with some yeast notes and a slight tang. Hazy gold body with a head that retains ok.

This ale is all about personal preference - will be polarising - no doubt in my mind this is another high quality Rogue brew - well done fellas - interesting taste - kinda soapy but pleasantly so - probably something I’d try once a year like all the Rogue range - some I’d drink a lot and others occasionally, like this.

Fresh, modest beer with a soft taste of grain and malt. Has some fruits as well.

Draught @ Beer Temple. Slightly unclear orange golden color, small white to off-white head that leaves fair lacing. Smell and taste malts, sweet grains, straw. Weak body, average to medium carbonation. Meh.

Bottle T morimotos restaurant. Pours a tan color with a nice spicy taste with coriander and malt. East drinking and flavorful. Not bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
