UPDATED: JAN 2, 2006 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Mahogany brown with a warm, reddish glow and a small, off-white head. The aroma alone is a bombardment of impressions: thick, rich aroma hoppiness and a very vinous touch. The body is strong and overly potent with typical notes of raisins and other dried fruits, plus overripe notes of plums etc. Quite hoppy finish from the 120 IBU. Thanks to Humleimporten for sharing this gem. 291205

Dark amber to brown color. Aroma of malt, caramel, hop, a bit alcoholic, not extreme. Extreme taste, full body, powerful malt and caramel with loads of good hops, a bit oily, never too much alcoholic.

Bottle, 2003-12-18, 9-5-9-5-18=46
Dark amber color. Strong aroma, malty, sirupy, maple, hoppy, nuts. Full mouthfeel, sweet for a short instant, and then immediately balanced; loads of caramel, with good and strong malt, hop, medium liquorice. Extremely powerful Barleywine, 100% malt, 100% hop; beautiful!
