An amber beer with an orange head. The aroma is hoppy with notes of alcohol and caramel. The flavor is very dry with notes of alcohol and hops. Very hoppy for a Barley Wine, but a very nice beer.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Mahogany brown with a warm, reddish glow and a small, off-white head. The aroma alone is a bombardment of impressions: thick, rich aroma hoppiness and a very vinous touch. The body is strong and overly potent with typical notes of raisins and other dried fruits, plus overripe notes of plums etc. Quite hoppy finish from the 120 IBU. Thanks to Humleimporten for sharing this gem. 291205

Bottled. Hazy amber. The aroma has loads of caramel hay and apricots. Sweet and full bodied with compact mouthfeel. Very hoppy with notes of pineapple and yeast, lots of toffeeish malt. Extremely bitter finish.

Bottle. Nice malty, bonbon, pepper aroma, with a little cream. Cloudy red/brown colour. The flavour is nice and peppery. Quite malty but ends drily. Leaves a tongue-drying bitterness. Late alcohol bitterness. Quite rough. VERY bitter aftertaste.
