Had this in at least two guises, under this name and the name Shark Tooth Ale. I’m otherwise sympathetic to Rogue but all the renaming is bullshit. Anyways, a clean, clear pour with a firm head and crisp carbonation. Soft malts in the nose with mild herbal and floral notes, almost as if the brewers wanted to make a kolsch/pilsner cyborg. Earthy in places, bright in others, the beer failed to leave much of an impression.

Dry malty bready scent with a little tart citrus in the end. Cloudy amber Orange tone light head. kinda watery malt flavor with a sudden hint of citrus. Wet and kinda tart on the palate.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2013 Aromas of nuts, caramel, toffee, subtle apricot, and earthy hops. Clear red-orange with a fading, beige head. Dry, slightly bitter, and with toasty malty flavors. Light body, low carbonation, and finishes cleanly with lingering caramel and earthy hop flavors.

Medium gold color. Slightly cloudy, small head. Mild malts with a spicy hoppy character. Good flavor. Smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Tasty beer, light and refreshing, but enough hop bite to make it interesting.

Thanks to my brother for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat, ginger, lemon, perfume and caramel. The flavor is wheat, orange peel, coriander, perfume and flowery hops, lemons and a low amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Overall, this beer tastes like a hopped up Belgian White. Decent and somewhat drinkable, but nothing special.

Enjoyed from a 22oz bomber in a pub glass. The beer pours a medium golden color with a moderate white head. The nose shows notes of Munich malt and a general tendency toward continental malt notes. An earthy hop character comes through toward the end of the aroma. The palate is nicely malty in the approach and mid-palate, before showing a little more balance in the end-palate to the finish. The finish itself carries a pleasing residual sweetness, along with some earthy hop notes. Overall, a pleasing and nicely complex session beer. If only all golden blonde ales were this way...
