3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Thanks to my brother for sharing this bottle.
The beer pours a yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat, ginger, lemon, perfume and caramel. The flavor is wheat, orange peel, coriander, perfume and flowery hops, lemons and a low amount of bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
Overall, this beer tastes like a hopped up Belgian White. Decent and somewhat drinkable, but nothing special.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Enjoyed from a 22oz bomber in a pub glass. The beer pours a medium golden color with a moderate white head. The nose shows notes of Munich malt and a general tendency toward continental malt notes. An earthy hop character comes through toward the end of the aroma. The palate is nicely malty in the approach and mid-palate, before showing a little more balance in the end-palate to the finish. The finish itself carries a pleasing residual sweetness, along with some earthy hop notes. Overall, a pleasing and nicely complex session beer. If only all golden blonde ales were this way...

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
650ml bottle "Jazz Guy Ale"
Clear pale amber body, persistent off-white head.
Aroma of medium-low intensity. I get some dried fruit and metallic spice (bit oxidised?). Caramel malts and earthy hops detectable, but disguised.
Full bodied, good smooth, slick texture with medium carbonation.
Toffee malts and mildly citrusy, earthy spice hops. Bit like a British bitter actually. Bitterness is relatively restrained, finish a bit lacklustre.
Bit disappointing, but I think this may have been an old bottle. Reminds me a bit of James Squire amber ale otherwise, which makes it even wierder being apparently a Golden Ale!? Not bad either way, would like to have a fresh bottle next time.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, labeled as Sharktooth Ale. A lot of haze on the second pour from the bottle, golden straw body with short head. Mild biscuity malt aroma with some coriander as well. In the taste, coriander is a little more noticeable, a little bit grainy with not too much else, good carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma is malty and wheaty with yeast, herbs, and grassy hops (basically like herb bread). The appearance is cloudy gold with a medium foamy head. The taste is like the aroma with a sharp bitter finish. The palate is thin but OK. Overall a nice session beer also good with many foods.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Golden pour with a moderate white head. A little hoppy, with bread, and some malt aromas. Decently crisp, a little thin, and seems like a pilsner. Not bad, but not very impressive.
