22oz bottle as Jazz Guy Ale shared by a friend. Iím calling shenanigans on the suggestion that this beer is the same is this Oregon Golden Ale, ícuz this mutha is a deep amber color. Aroma is grainy malt with some earthy hops. Grainy and bready malt flavor with some earthy hops in the finish. Definitely an amber ale.

22 oz. bottle. Golden amber colour with a mostly diminishing creamy and fizzy white head. Caramel and light citrus aroma. Caramel malts up front with an earthy, lightly herbal bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft yet juicy mouthfeel.

Pours a deep golden color with a huge fluffy head. Aroma of malt and hops. Taste is bitter. Very hoppy. Not much going on here.

Apparently a lot of beers are also known as Oregon golden ale. A golden body with a white head. Caramel malts, very grainy and bitter with a herbal floral hoppiness. Not so good.

650ml bottle. A clear golden ale with an average-sized white head. Malty aromas dominate with bread and fruity hops (orange mainly). Flavour is quite bitter for the style with a strong malt base and a potent resinous dry herbal hop bitterness to the finish that lingers in the mouth. The massive hop presence rather unbalances this beer IMHO. It needs a little more sweetness up front. A bumptious beer!

Source: On tap at Mediciís in Normal.
Glass: Poured into a standard pint glass.
Appearance: Clear gold color with a one finger white head.
Aroma: A bit of malt and citrus hops.
Flavor: Solid malt base with a bitter, earthy finish.
Palate: Medium body with a clean mouthfeel and solid carbonation.
Overall: Pretty decent for a blonde, but not something I would drink often.

My bottle is called Jazz Buy Ale. Brought over by a friend. I told him I liked it, and thanked him. It is the thought that counts.

Location: Picked up a 22 oz. bottle at Gillyís, drank it Jan í09

Overall Impression: Bought this one dressed in its the Shark Tooth Ale Label alias...Really solid for a Blonde, which Iím just not huge fan of in general, but this one was had some decent fruity and floral flavors, and a nice head.

Now "Jazz Guy Ale" : after warming on the counter for about 10 minutes, I still un-capped a gusher; big bottle into a snifter. Rich amber color with a sticky tan foam, a bit murky as well. Citrusy hops come straight to the nose. Hops seem to dominate the flavor as well, potent and dry, but an unexpected maltiness opens up and carries this along. Perhaps a bit over carbonated, I would like a higher gravity version. Still, Rogue continues to hit. Comes in under $6 at my local.
