Golden brown, some sediment, with a thin bone-tinted head. Hops in the nose bear a mild soapiness, accompanied by flowery yeast, citrus and hay.You have to work hard to decipher any flavor, of which only yeast, hops, and grapefruit are even remotely detectable. Medium-bodied and finishing on a mildly bitter note, this isn’t watery, just flavorless.

Looks a lot like a Belgian. Smooth and hoppy. Not bad.

More of the same. Toastier than Dead Guy. But not much different. I am sick of all these limited releases. Thinking I will be getting something totally unique and complex, they send out more Yellowsnow clones??

I don’t get it. Some people are pouring some of this breweries beers down the drain and this beer is rated almost a 4. This is probably the weakest Rogue beer that I have had. Their answer to a lawnmower beer.

ANother one that I don’t understand why no one outside of Indiana has had it...anyway, it does exist, it is a mediocre beer as far as Rogue is concerned. Hoppy and a little bit too bitter, decent malt but a little thin. I like ht ename though.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Heck, it tastes like a recipe ale with slightly more interesting hopping and a touch more malt -- a bit of fruit. Rogue makes great unique beers, and this one’s not unique.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: NOV 13, 2003 I agree with Oakes: compared with others, it's pretty good; compared with other Rogues, it's a little below par. I found it a little too sweet and cloying, but nevertheless tasty. Rerate, Shark Tooth, bottle: Cloudy, rust-orange. Crisp up front, followed by a lively carbonation. Malts were sort of chalky. Flowery, juicy, estery notes (lemon, tangerine). Malts were bready, relatively light. Bitter aftertaste dried out the tongue. Good, but it tastes a lot like many other Rogue Ales. 34 IBUs? Seemed like a little more than that. Good beer, much better than my first rating.

Nice golden color. Hoppy nose. Nice balanced flavor with maybe a little more hops than i like. Still a great easy drinking ale.

Hoppy and Malty! Very balanced Ale. Highly recommended Rogue to whet your appetite.
