Tap at Rattle’n’Hum. Fresh squash, autumn foliage aroma, bubblegum and clove. Sticky caramel and leaf flavor. A decent and somewhat unique balance between the hop and malt, this thankfully shys away from the traditional Amber formula.

Copper orange, with little head. Caramel sweet aroma with balancing hop character. Honey and hop flavour dominates. Light-weight in the mouth (but not thin). Very sessionable. Nice, but not sensational.

Bottle thanks to americanbrew. The smell is wort, sweet, ok, but seemingly missing. The look is golden in color with a light head. The taste is sweet, wort, malts, and hops.

(Cask) Poured red and cloudy. Head was small and white. Sweet aroma contained also clearly hops. Carbonation was, as expected, low. Otherwise the palate was medium bodied. Malts, pine, hops, fruitiness and bitterness could be found while sipping the beer. Aftertaste was malty and bitter, Really nice beer.

Bouteille de 22 oz partagée lors d’une dégustation Ratebeer Montréal chez Altair. Arôme: Odeur d’houblons avec une pointe fruitée. Apparence: La couleur est orangée légèrement voilée. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût d’agrumes et de pins avec une pointe de caramel fruité. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Murky looking amber orange body with short lasting white head. Good hops in the taste although not really bright, some caramel perhaps a little more than you expect , orange zest, bready, butterscotch, lots of lace on the second glass. Hints of honey in the aroma.

22oz bomber at a tasting at Sylvain’s house. Nose is sweet fruity (peach?) piny hops. Some alcohol also. Taste is earthy hops. Nice and drinkable. Finish is quite crisp. Quite good overall.

Draught sample at the Portland Pub. I’m sorry but this seemed boring to me. Not offensive or bad, just bland and run-of-the mill. Great concept but the end product missed for me.

Amber coloured ale with a huge, attractive thick yellow/white head. Handsome and rugged like the State.
Aroma is very malty, toffeeish, crackers with lovelly fresh hopping in the back.
Great tasting malt driven beer ..yet balanced out by tough hopping. Very chewy,
Great on the palate..thick and luxurious.
Over all a great beer here from Rogue.
