DEDICATED TO EVERYONE WITH A THIRST FOR BOOKS One of Michael Powell’s early inspirations as a bookseller was discovering a first edition of Moby-Dick in a box of books he’s purchased. Today, Melville’s white whale has inspired Powell’s Books 41st anniversary beer. There’s even a page or two in the brew! A whale of an ale, made with actual pages from Moby-Dick. German Maibock style with a rich hearty flavor and the aroma of malt and just a hint of sea air. 8 INGREDIENTS: Northwest Harrington, Klages, Maier Munich, & Carastan Malts; Perle & Saaz hops; Free Range Coastal Water & Pacman Yeast. 16 °P, 40 IBU, 78 AA, 16 °L
