3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draught (Rogue Alehouse Issaquah) pours amber, biased towards the orange side, fairly clear, small frothy off-white head, light carbonation, with light lacing. Malty & nutty aroma... quite different from most Rogue brews. Slightly sweet and quite malty on the tongue. Great body and mouthfeel. This is perhaps the best Oktoberfest that I have had this year. Finishes smooth with lingering sweet malts. I would have better notes but seeing as this one isn’t bottled I got rather upset. Highly recommended.

UPDATED: JUL 9, 2007 This brew was a great treat. I was kinda pissed that they didn’t release it in bottles, well at least not on the 15th, but it was a damn good brew. Very malty, nutty aroma. Taste starts very sweet and malty with a good toasted quality to it and finishes with a great hop balance to even it out.
