Pours a deep mahogany body with a lasting white head. Sweet with some dark fruits and a dry, lasting hop finish. Good cold night beer.

Aug 30, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Dense, fluffy lightly tanned head. Beautiful lacework. Hazed, deep amber colored body. High aroma level; sweet caramellish, rummy and fruity. Taste is toasted dark malts, gently sweet with an ashy/smoky accent. Notes of sour fruits. Subdued earthy hop bitterness. Well-bodied. Slight bitter, slight sour-malty finish.
