Nice head for a lighter ale - white, fluffy and as thick as you’d expect. Poured a very nice light copper or golden color. Aroma was initially strong with fruity and yeast aromas... as the beer warmed it was more of a subtle hoppy aroma. Very dry finish on a nice hoppy ale. Hops dominate the malt sweetness here. scrizzz (1266), kirkland, Washington, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 9, 2007 I get some hints of zesty lemon, a little sour hops, and some sweet bready malt. Cloudy gold/orange with a nice velvetty white head. Lots of upfront lemon. Pretty straightforward with the hops. Some grassy earthy notes as well. A little malt comes in on the back end, but the hop s dominate this one. There does seem to be that little bit of Rogue flavor here too. Medium body with a dry bitter lemon finish. Not the best APA, but pleasant nonetheless. JPDIPSO (4898), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 5, 2007 Purchased with a touch of trepidation as I thought that this was surely a repackage job, but lo and behold a "new" brew form Rogue. Golden color with a hugh off-white head and speckles of lace. Light malt and woody pine aromas. Hints of lemon and grapefruit zest as well. Simple, but straight forward ARPA scents. Lightly earthy malt flavors. Quite smooth in feel. Again straight forward and simple in flavors to match the scent. I think this one is closer to a english pale than american. One to set on the porch and not think about. Just watch the fish/seahorses go by. jredmond (1029), New Jersey, USA

Aroma of caramel, floral, and toasted grain. Flavor of caramel malt, herbal, and floral hops. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | May 23, 2007 pretty nice golden color with a nice, off-white head. The aroma was fairly hoppy, but not exceedingly so. The flavor was really quite nice. Had some nice malt character, before a hoppy finish that was flavorful and slightly bitter, but not the insanity of other west coast IPA/APAs. A wonderful, easy drinking beer.
