12oz bottle new arrival at Bierhandlung bb04/2017. - (First sampled at Braukunst LIve 2013). - Fresh and precisely composed Dry/Oatmeal Stout with rich textured malts and a manageable hop bitter bite with character. A Top 50/World Class Stout I can live with. - * Earthy, tobacco-leaf dryness from the roast and Cascades quench thirst in lovely harmony, making this so much more and easier to drink than a winter warmer. * Lets roast nuts, coffee grounds and bitter chocolate powder hover over a hidden Cascade ale. * Deals mainly in dry bitters and does well as coffee spice in a sweet vanilla ice cream float. * Glad to revisit.
