355 ml bottle into pint. Served at room temperature. Smells of chocolate pudding, toffee, cocoa and oats. Blacker than ebony with a tan-coloured head. Surprisingly effervescent with a full body. Finish starts fruity moving to dry cocoa then dark chocolate. Very pleasant winter beer.

Pours pitch black with a thick dark brown-cappuccino head. Lots and lots of coffe both in aroma and taste, maybe even too much as it tends to mask everything else. Full body, medium-low carbonation, one of the most bitter stout I tried also, but very drinkable. Taste is not what I’d say exceptional, but I had to hinder myself from drink it all at once anyway. Had a lot of expectations from this beer, most not met honestly, but it’s far from being bad. Sure will drink again as I think this was some kind of an unlucky bottle.

pours black color, clear, with creamy stable light brown/brown head. Aroma: intense malt aroma, which takes on toffee, chocolate, with hint of cocoa, supported with hop aroma, which takes on citruses, with some spicy undertones. Flavor are practically the same as aroma finish is slighty sticky dry-bitter, and lingers long in aftertaste. Body is medium, texture silky soft, carbonation is low.

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, dried fruit, liquorice, chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and hops.

Taste/Palate:
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, dried fruit, liquorice and chocolate; ends slightly bitter with roasted malts, coffee and hops.
