Bottled. Pours deep brown and nearly black with a large tan head, that leaves a good lacing. Nose of slightly roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and citrus notes. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and slightly bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft CO2. An enjoyable stout. ★★★★

65cl bottle @Cimmeria, Oviedo. Sweet chocolate and coffee aromas, some nuts and toffe ones. Pours very dark, a bit cloudy, with frothy tan head, creamy, some persistent, good lacing. Medium body, soft carbonation, oily texture. Taste is a bit watery, lacks some more body, chocolate notes present, nuts, some caramel, well balanced. Enjoyable anyway, but more body would be nice.

Pours black with a mocha head that disappears quickly. Smell a of baking cocoa, a bit of coffee and roasted malts. Taste is rich chocolate with a little hop bitterness. Dry finish with a good medium body. Just as good as the first time I had it.

EtTuCthulhu (374) - Columbia, Missouri, USA - FEB 12, 2013
The color of this beer is opaque black with a minimal brown head, and the aroma is a blend of roasted malts, chocolate, and oats without being overpowering. This beer is slightly bitter and mildly sweet, and the medium-thick body, flat carbonation, thick texture, and bitter finish combine to make this beer very nice on the mouth.

Black and foamy on the pour. Coffee head an inch or more. Hah! I’m a poet! Aroma is toasted malt with a touch of dark chocolate and coffee. Taste is slightly bitter; pleasantly so. Soft carbonation, medium body, Slightly sticky mouthfeel. Fairly standard, solid Oatmeal Stout. Frankly I think my seasoned variations of this recipe are improvements, but I certainly wouldn’t turn one down.

Nice malt, chocolate, coffee scent. Creamy with medium carbonation. Drinks very smoothly while still imparting a lot of flavor. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Very nice.

650ml bottle- pours out an opaque engine oil black with a massive cola colored head that lasted the entire glass with plenty of lacing. Aroma was black coffee. Taste was bitter coffee and unsweetened chocolate with a bite of a finish. That finishing bite is not exactly a welcome addition, dropping the score somewhat. Palate was thin for a stout. Not bad, but not as good as I had expected, either.

Pours black, with a fleeting light brown head. Strong aroma of roasted malt and caramel, a bit floral too. Taste begins really bitter, quick to burnt sweetness, sour notes coming through. A bit of umami there. The finish is short and bitter. Good solid stout. One to have with dinner or a good chunk of old cheddar.

Very good stout. Good aroma. Nice taste and full body. Pallet is a nice mouthful. Very good flavor, but finish is a bit harsh as you get with some imperial stouts.
