(tap)Woa, what a nice creamy beer. Lots of chocolate and coffee hints in this one. Feels really nice and so smooth. Definitly a great beer. Will grab this one again.

This is probably my favorite Rogue beer. Very well balanced and an esy drinker. Not quite world class (despite the awards) in my humble opinion, but very good.

Poured from 22oz bottle to shaker glass. Pours intensely dark brown with a thick, tan head. Great stout smell. Traces of malt and oat with hint of chocolate. Tastes just like it smells, also earthy with small amount of coffee back to it. Finishes great, awesome beer.

Not what I would expect from a traditional oatmeal stout, but certainly what I had in mind waiting for a well-crafted Ameriacn OS. This is much more dry and bitter than for example the english OS, but it is also perfect. Sweet grapes juice and black currants on the chocolate nose, and a lovely dark, bitter chocolate on the flavour. Deliciously balanced with the hops for a bitter finish. Medium bodied... Ag! This is perfect.

On tap (nitro) @ Chuck’s 85th. Pours opaque inky black with thick super creamy nitro head. Aroma is nitro heavy, but dry charred malt stands out. Incredibly creamy, rich mouthfeel. Deeply roasted malt balanced by slight hop bitterness and dark chocolate on the finish. Impressive richness for this low an ABV. Balanced as well. For a non-imperial stout, this is the gold standard.

Pours a brownish black with a beige, coffee head. Tastes of oats, coffee, nuts, fruit, roasted malts. Perfectly smooth on the palette and melts in your mouth. Becomes thicker and tastier as u swish. Worth buying just because of the mouth feel. The taste however could be better. Still a decent beer.

Nitro tap at Dexters. Opaque brown-black body with a massive, steady, thick and creamy beige head. Rich chocolate, some nice hop bitterness too. Watery nitro body makes it intensely refreshing and sessionable. Well done, true to style, quite a nice cask feel. Hopped chocolate milk aftertaste. Nice.

Deep dark brown beer with a creamy beige head that sticks to the glass in a thick film. Nose is rich with hints of chocolate, licorice, and luscious brown sugar. Taste is semi-sweet upfront with flavors of burnt sugar, mocha, and dark molasses which then develops into a medium bitterness with undertones of toasted malt. The roasted flavors and pleasant bitterness linger forever. Absolutely delicious beer and everything you could hope for in a stout.
