Rogue’s Shakespeare Stout is ebony in color, a rich creamy head and a mellow chocolate aftertaste. It is made from Northwest Harrington, Crystal, and Chocolate malts, roasted barley and rolled oats, along with Cascade hop.

Dark brown color like chocolate with brown head. One of the smoothest stouts I have had. I smell coffee and malt. I taste coffee, dark chocolate, and dark bread. Very good...

Bottle pour opaque black with thick head the color of hot chocolate. Looks nice. Nose mild roast, butterscotch, cocoa, sweet malt. Taste light bitterness mixed with some roast initial. Smooth mouth feel. Lighter roasted finish. All good flavors, but done in moderation.

Lovely black pour w/ a big mocha head that leaves a bit of lacing. The aroma has some nice chocolate notes w/ a hint of some roasted bitterness. The taste is richly full of chocolate upfront & finishes slightly thin w/ some bitterness. This is another fine offering from rogue!

Dark body with a tan head. Chocolate malty aroma with coffee notes, woody, licorice. Taste is sweet, with some dark chocolate bitterness. Long almost dry finish.

Dip your nose in bitter chocolate before submerging your whole head in deep, smooth chocolatey heaven. The oatmeal shines through to make it feel like you are licking velvet. Rated by BrewTom

Aroma of chicory and coffee, ebony colour with a lasting well laced brown head. Taste of espresso and chocolate with a watery feel and a mildly bitter palate.

A black beer with a small brown head. The aroma is roasted malt, coffee, vanilla, and nutty. The flavor is bittersweet chocolate, smoky roasted malt, and creamy oats.

Pours very dark, almost black. Chocolate and coffee aromas and flavors. Tastes too much like coffee for my taste

Very dark borwn body, light brown head. Really nice bittersweet aroma heavy on chocolate, with vanlilla, coffee, hints of wood and smoke. Smooth, heavy palate. Balanced flavour with chocolate, a light bitterness with coffee and a dry oatmeal aftertaste.
