Rogue’s Shakespeare Stout is ebony in color, a rich creamy head and a mellow chocolate aftertaste. It is made from Northwest Harrington, Crystal, and Chocolate malts, roasted barley and rolled oats, along with Cascade hop.

Draft. This is good, but this is the first time I drank a beer and was thinking of a chocolate breakfast bar. Clearly a sweet stout with a great roasted coffee, chocolate and nut flavor. Good brew.

Jet black with a lasting light brown head. Burned and roast aromas, some wood, brandy and a hint of cherry. Sweet and fruity flavour that finishes dry and wooden. Somewhat thin and watery for the big flavour.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein schwarzes Bier mit schöner bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Schokolade. Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, angenehm cremig, schokoladig, erdig.

Bottle, from Wohlenbergs Vinhandel, Sønderborg. Near pitch-black, with a big foamy beige head. Aroma is malty sweet with a clear roasted character as well as a little chocolate. Nice, full, oily mouthfeel. Flavour is dry, roasted and quite sweet. There is a clear smoky finish to it that is not too powerful - just well-adjusted. Nice stout, indeed.

pitch dark, large smooth brown head. Aroma is roasted sruff, chocolate, dark caramel. Flavor is coffee roasted stuff, hops, very well balanced, but also a rad boring.

650ml bottle (Kaisla, Helsinki) - shared with mjs - thanks!
Super smooth roasty aroma. Even better taste. Super drinkability, very mellow. Goddam this is yum. Nice cocoa twist to the roast. Hops fairly subtle. Looked great too, obviously - dark and crowned with a large tight beige head. This beer is one of the pieces of evidence I’d use to support the claim that American brewers are brewing the best porters in the world currently. Fullers London Porter’s almost alone holding the flag.

Bomber poured an opaque black with a lasting brown head. Aromas of bitter chocolate, coffee, roasted malt and vanilla. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of milk chocolate, vanilla, light roastiness and light coffee with a smooth chocolatey finish.

(Wild Irish Rogue). Opaque black ale with a thich moka head. Chocolate and vanilla comes out with floral hops in the nose. Sweet chocolate with floral hops, whre the chocolate bitterness marries with the floral hops very well. A certain harshness is noticed near the end. . Good body where both types of bitterness are dancing with each other, fine brew.
