Another great stout from Rogue. Pours a dark brown with a tan head. Minor lacing, nothing too fantastic. Aroma is cocoa and roasted coffee malts. A little bit of bitterness from hops, but mostly malts. Great stout!

Pours pitch black with a thick dark brown-cappuccino head. Lots and lots of coffe both in aroma and taste, maybe even too much as it tends to mask everything else. Full body, medium-low carbonation, one of the most bitter stout I tried also, but very drinkable. Taste is not what I’d say exceptional, but I had to hinder myself from drink it all at once anyway. Had a lot of expectations from this beer, most not met honestly, but it’s far from being bad. Sure will drink again as I think this was some kind of an unlucky bottle.

Pours black with a cocoa head. aroma is strong roasted malts & porridge. Taste is an earthy, roasted porridge flavour with honey. Lovely.

pours black color, clear, with creamy stable light brown/brown head. Aroma: intense malt aroma, which takes on toffee, chocolate, with hint of cocoa, supported with hop aroma, which takes on citruses, with some spicy undertones. Flavor are practically the same as aroma finish is slighty sticky dry-bitter, and lingers long in aftertaste. Body is medium, texture silky soft, carbonation is low.

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, dried fruit, liquorice, chocolate, roasted malts, coffee and hops.

Opaque black beer with a medium dark brown head.

Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, dried fruit, liquorice and chocolate; ends slightly bitter with roasted malts, coffee and hops.

A really complex and intense 6.5 abv stout with a creamy palate. Cannot really think of anything more to say, this beer is simply that good.

Scent in the nostiles is roasted barley and chili’s. Deep rich black color. Smooth taste of the roasted barley with hints of choco through out the Flavor profile. Full body brew with beautiful carbonation for this stout. Smooth though out the taste and feel. I would have to give this one of the nicest full body oatmeal stouts I’ve drinking to date. This will be my recomended oatmeal stout two thumbs up on this brew. Nice work Rouge.
