Pours out a light brown color, clear with a small to medium sized head. Aroma was Skoal chewing tobacco, some light wintergreen mint and sweet malt. Flavor was smoky, but nothing too overboard. I liken this to Alaskan Smoked Porter, but perhaps a bit stronger in the smoke dept. Nice beer.

I love smoke. Smoked pork, beef, ribs, chicken, etc. NOT BEER. Hands down, one of the worst craft beers I’ve tasted. I understand that some people enjoy it, which is dandy, but definitely not my cup o’ tea

On tap at Rich O’s. clear copper/amber with a white head decent lacing. big smokey bacon aroma with a light touch of piney hops. smokey bacon/beef jerky flavor. bitter medium dry lightly hopped finish with a touch of spice. medium body. lively carbonation. nice straightforward smoked beer....kinda makes you feel like you are sitting in a smoker while drinking a beer. nice.

Deep and dark hazy look with slight smoked aroma. Flavor of maltyness and smoke in the good wellbalanced dry way. Not too much and not too less. A good swallow-beer to fireplace-herings!

Bottle. Amber with beige head. Light smoke and malt in the aroma. Fresh taste with smokey aftertaste. Nice beer.

Orange pour has awful looking tan swirls in it. Small head is very well retained, eventually leaving behind frothy lacing. Aroma is of mild smoke, lightly toasted grains, mellow floral hops and meat that that doesn’t mesh well at all. Flavor is signifigantly more pleasing, though nothing memorable. Smoke is moderate, bitterness is light and the whole flavor is overrun by an earthy and floral tone. Finishes oily and mild, somewhat dry. Palate is smooth and medium bodied with lively carbonation. Forgettable.

Bomber. Pours a clear dark amber with a lacy off-white head. Brown sugar and bacon in the aroma and the taste with a smoky dry finish. A nicely make beer that doesn’t overdo the smoke.
