Bottled: Reddish brown coloured. Clear. Small light brown head. Aroma of bacon chips. Some malts and fruit notes. Flavour as well is quite bacony. Has a rather thin body and is quite watery. Fat malty notes. Has a very smoky end.

Pours dark amber/orange with a fine though disappearing tan head. Dominating smoke aroma with a tone of bacon chips. Mostly sweet and malty and pretty full. Malty and slightly smokey flavor. Sweet and full with a dry end. Good complexity, I actually like it.

Bottled at RBESG. Dark amber. Rich beechwood style smokey aroma. Medium bodied with soft mouthfeel. Intense smoke flavour accompanied by buttery malt. Unusually bitter finish for a smoke beer. Straightforward and uncomplicated, but for a rauchbier lover like me very enjoyable.

(Bottle 65 cl) Clear amber colour with a decent, creamy, beige head. Pronounced smoky aroma. Malty with the smoke being all over the flavours too. Kinda light-bodied. 120805

Bottle @ RBESG 2005. Good smoky aroma, notes of ham and smoked meats. Copper colored brew, small white head. Light smoky flavor, with a nice underlying malt profile. This one could defintely use some more smoke!
