COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This unfiltered beer is medium bodied with no harsh bitterness, it has flavors of honey, and orange balanced with a nice medium-sweet malt character.

Previously released as Eugene City Tracktown Honey Orange Wheat.

Nice smooth wheat. Pours with glad head and a great orange aroma. A nice sweet taste hits in the Beginning finished with a full wheaty taste. A nice cloudy orange color of unfiltered wheat. Very similar to blue moon. Easy drinking.

"2013 as Tracktown Honey Orange Wheat. Would make a decent summer brew but its pretty simple. As advertised, light honey and orange, not much to the beer outside of that..."

So this is hard style to do well, in my opinion, props to Rogue for giving it their best shot...Clear (which is odd for a wheat ale), no lacing. Light, not bad for what it is. Drinkable, but the training wheels are definitely on it, it’s for the uninitiated I suspect. Medium-light carbonation, very light mouthfeel, am I even drinking?

Bottle. Smells great but the taste is weird and only average. Some malty wheat notes and a little bit orange. Medium body. Mild carbonation. Lightly sour.

On tap at Rogue Public House in San Francisco, CA. I wish this beer was a fraction as good as the description made it sound.

Rogue Ales, Track Town Ales, or Eugene City Brewery. They’re all the same, and they all make this beer. It’s not as good as the name suggests, unfortunately.

Had the Eugene city honey orange wheat... Aroma is lemon zest, flavor of light wheat, notes of honey and citrus... Okay

Pours a semi-cloudy golden yellow color with a nice head of foam but is quickly gone. The scent is full of wheat and citrus fruits. The sweet smell of the oranges make for a desirable want to taste. There’s a nice orange and honey taste to this beer. It’s rather thin in texture and makes for a quick drink. No bad by any means but could definitely use some improvement for a bolder taste and texture. Great craft choice for a hot summer day!

Bottle. Pours a bright, clear yellow with no head. Aroma is light honey and citrus with a matching flavor. Its almost sticky and.its.very.sweet. not a fan.

22 oz bottle served in a snifter. Pours golden yellow in color with a small white head that quickly reduces to a ring. Virtually no lacing left behind, excepting a few spots. Has a pleasant aroma with hints of orange blossoms and honey but mainly of a light, bready malt and faint wheat. T - Nice mix of malt and wheat for a foundation, with a subtle contribution from the honey and orange: I’ve had many APAs and IPAs with more ’orange’ flavor (from hops alone). Low but adequate carbonation; a bit crisp; Fairly clean feel; light body but not particularly watery. Overall: a fine lighter (but not "Light") beer for hot summer days. Refreshing. Should work well with mild foods such as most seafood, but a little too mild for some spicy hummus I had with it.
