| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 15, 2008 Good sized light orange head of rather large bubbles. Decent carbonation. Sweet malty aroma with lots of caramel, gingerbread, tart apples and some candy sugar. Bright orange in color. Pretty smooth flavor. Lots of caramel malts again, decent hops presence which leaves with a little bitterness, dried apples and some earthy herbal notes late swallow. Noticable alcohol presence but not over the top. Finishes creamy and smooth with a lingering bitterness and herbal flavors. A decent ASA. Not worth the 20 bucks though but still nice to try once. Boutip (2348), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 6, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Sammy: Poured a deep orangey color ale with a medium size foamy head with some retention and some lacing. Aroma of floral and bitter hops is interesting. Taste is a ix between some caramel and light toffee malt with some dominating notes of floral hops and a medium-strong bitter finish. Full body with some great carbonation and no alcohol was apparent. Overall, a nicely done west coast hoppy ale. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 1, 2008 Flip-top bottle. Small fizzy ivory head that mostly diminished, spotty amount of lacing, fast rising carbonation, cloudy, and a orangish brown hue. Nose was caramel, malty, hoppy, and citrus. Flavor was hoppy, grapefruit, vinuous, and dry finish. Dry mouthfeel and medium in body. Too over-the-top hoppy tasting for my liking. I was left with a very hoppy aftertaste that took a while to get rid of. CelticBrew (691), The Crystal Coast, North Carolina, USA

Aroma is of hops, caramel, malts. Flavour is of a strong piney, grapefruit with a hoppy backed beer. Smooth, yet with a lovely bitter bite from the hops. This beer simply kicks ASS! Frigen Rogue got it right with this one, simply incredible. robforbes (1085), Bremerton, Washington, USA

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Feb 1, 2008 This flippy top bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy fine to medium sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent dark orange colored body and a fair lacing. The aroma was hoppy malty and caramel malt. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a biting hoppy aftertaste. The strong flavor contained notes of piney hops in a lingering aftertaste. Delicious and one I would certainly buy again. doubleo (1104), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 30, 2008 Drunk 11/12/07. Pours a cloudy burnt orange color. Thinnish, off-white head that hangs around a bit. Even with all those hops there isn’t much nose to it. Faint generic, sweet hop smell. Tastes hoppy of course. Not overly bitter. Citrusy, and almost has that fresh hop oily, estery taste. Mouthfeel is a touch thick, but to be expected for a 10% hoppy brew. Could use a bit more carbonation. I’d say it was probably better fresh, but it’s still good.
