(Ceramic bottle 78 cl) Pours a clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh, fruity and hoppy nose. Medium body, good lightly caramelish malt base and a very distinct bitterness in the finish. Hard to believe that this is only 60 IBU! 160607

Cloudy amber beer, no real head. Full flavoured rich beer. Immediate bitter sweet attack from the hops. Light sweet fruit followed by a marmaladish smooth mid. Finishes very slightly aniseed spicy with more orange and and tangerine hop fruitiness and bitterness. Has a real deft touch this beer - mouth watering and keeps you coming back for the next swig!

Dull pale beige. Hazy. Peach, peanuts, pear, chewy malts and plum. Scattered flavours - pear, peach, light chocolate. Hints of toast, maybe earth. The peach/pear notes are typical of a young high-test pale brew, which this clearly is. There’s nothing cohesive about it. A light splash of alcohol comes in late, mercifully cutting through the cloying sugars. Give it time, the more the merrier.

Ceramic swingtop bottle pored a clear copper with a large lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, earthiness and citrus. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, grapefruit rind and a hint of pine with lingering bitter finish. Not bad, but not worth $20 a bottle!
