(Ceramic bottle 78 cl) Pours a clear, amber golden with an off-white head. Fresh, fruity and hoppy nose. Medium body, good lightly caramelish malt base and a very distinct bitterness in the finish. Hard to believe that this is only 60 IBU! 160607

creamy body, hop flavor is a bit more subdued in the bottle but still present, the sweet caramel and pine comes out to add balance and complexity, still a long bitter finish but under control

Bottle, private tasting
Dull pale beige. Hazy. Peach, peanuts, pear, chewy malts and plum. Scattered flavours - pear, peach, light chocolate. Hints of toast, maybe earth. The peach/pear notes are typical of a young high-test pale brew, which this clearly is. There’s nothing cohesive about it. A light splash of alcohol comes in late, mercifully cutting through the cloying sugars. Give it time, the more the merrier.

Comments: Very aggressive beer in all aspects, rough-edged and topping its extremities with slashes of higher alcohols that hits you straight in the head. Too bad, I like Rogue.
