Taste is dominated by a strident, bitter, orange peel hop flavor. Some nice sweetish malt too, hints of lemon. Mouth is crisp, medium bodied and aftertaste is dominated by the hops. 100% Sterling, huh? Gives this pilsner a nice kick and sets it apart from most. Pretty damn good. If you want to experience Sterling hops solo, this would be the beer to try.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 11, 2009 Not sure how old this bottle was, but there were only a few left at the store, so I bought them both. The beer pours out light amber color, hazy with an off-white 1" rocky head with spotty lacing. Aroma is Play-Doh, bready with a light fruity/apple juice note. Flavor is light malts, light bitterness and subtle apple and apricots. Decent enough, but rather boring. KyotoLefty (1512), Kyoto, Japan

Cloudy light amber color. Aroma of peaches, biscuity malt; fruity and sweet. Flavor slightly sherry-like, with fruit, peaches, apples, honey, and almost no hops. Rather sweet and winey. Ok, but that’s all. Maybe need to get it fresher? 502Flavors (631), Louisville, Kentucky, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 11, 2009 Bomber into pint glass. Firstly, I bout think expecting it to be an imperial pilsner... given the name. Thanks Rogue!... and I swore I wouldn’t buy anything Rogue again, and this is how they repay me. Let hops its good RA. Pours a clear golden with a copper hue and a small, fast fading (though not disappearing) white head. Smells much better than expected... pale malt and very fruity, almost like a belgian or schwarz... can’t really explain it that well. The flavor is just as good. I initially gave both the aroma and the flavor 7s, but had to bump them to 8s. Medium to light body with meidum to low carbonation. Great balanced nice mouthfeel. Overall: this stuff is actually very good. One of the best, most unique pilseners I have ever had. Soo drinkable, so fresh. I want to try this fresh on tap at the brewhouse. shigadeyo (2263), Harrison, Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 25, 2009 10/21/2007: Rogue Über Pilsner pours a cloudy yellow color with a foamy off-white head that leaves good lacing effects on the glass. The aroma is malty with a hint of noble hops. The flavor is very much the same with a moderate level of accompanying bitterness. This medium-bodied beer is heavier than expected for a Pils, but it is still a pretty good beer overall.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 2, 2009 22 oz bottle from Party Liquors (Steger, Il) opened up for cooling purposes and rating. Pours a hazy golden pour with a few peeks of amber and decent white bubbly head. Aromas of pilsner malts, typical touch of funk, and some nice biscuity malt with good bittering hops. Smells balanced enough. Taste is similar, a little lighter in body, but still some decent maltiness balanced with flowery hops. Feels very rogue in taste. Finishes well, very sessionable. Nothing to write home about though. Cheers! biggmike (480), Hattiesburg, Mississippi, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 21, 2009 This beer poured a beautiful golden/yellow color with a nice white head that did not last long. The aroma was grassy and a lemony citrus smell. The flavor was also of citrus and grain with some balanced hop bitterness. This beer had a good mouthfeel with proper carbonation. This was drinkable and I enjoyed it.
