Smokey bacon and maple nose and taste. The bacon and maple are well pronounced but not overpowering. Maple sweetness followed by a smokey finish. Surprisingly good, but not something Id drink more than once in a blue moon.

Loved this tasty dark magic treat. Heavy maple syrup kisses the lips on the first sip then sweet smoke coats all senses. Great balance, well crafted and a delicious elixir for both breakfast and BBQ.

Obnoxiously pink bottle. Pours out a slightly cloudy amber color with a fading white head. Aroma is of maple syrup, pancakes and smoky bacon. Taste is straight forward breakfast. Smoky bacon, maple syrup, pancake batter, bacon and maple. Interesting idea.

Bottle from pikapp327. Brown pour with little to no head. Aroma is maple, caramel, and toasted bread. Taste is kinda gross, maple, sticky, astringent, and cake. Weird finish.

UPDATED: AUG 5, 2012 To each its own. I think this beer is delicious. never had anything like it. Taste of maple syrup and powered sugar almost immediately, a bit of smokiness. didnt taste any bacon. drank from a snifter glass.

My brother and I sat down and tried this beer together. The aroma is like huffing a five gallon bucket of maple syrup. The taste made made us both cringe with disgust, as it was very smoky and maple syrupy. "why would anyone make something so disgusting", my brother Said. I agree, I struggled through the first couple swigs, and after about a half hour, I poured it down the sink where it belongs.

Pepto Bismal Pink, 750ml bottle. Lighter pour than I expected. Medium amber color, tan head. Immediate aromas of smoked malts. As it warms, the room shells like breakfast, heavy maple. Tastes like smoke malts, light malts, and thin maple flavor. Thin bodied. Not cloying at all. Some bitterness in the end. Overall, its a Rauch beer with maple essence added. (3333!)

Bomber - pours hazy golden, orange-tawny with medium-large, slightly fizzy, slowly diminishing head. Aromas of maple sweetness and smoky spice on the nose. Beautiful campfire and bacon flavors, smoked meats, and schwarzbier goodness. Slight bittering hops at the finish, just for kicks. Medium bodied, pretty easy drinking. I like this one, wish it was around more. Perfect for eggie weggs and bacon.

Tastes like campfire, powdered sugar and smoked meat. Unique to say the least - Not the most pleasant to start, but kind of grew on me. Intense smokiness like nothing that I have ever had. Most people either love it or hate it and I can see both sides. I applaud Rogues audacity.

Pours a murky brown color with a small off-white head that vanishes quickly. This smells like diabetes. Cloyingly sweet with a very smokey and meaty aroma to it. Maple syrup, sugar, brown sugar, and caramel are all very prominent. The flavor is just not enjoyable. Intense smoke, meat, and salt flavors washed down with several different varieties of sugar. No thanks.
