Bottle. Poured hazy darker amber color with quickly disappearing head. Strong smokey aroma with a little maple sweetness. Quite smooth but tastes like liquid smoke. Tough to drink.

Very strong initial aroma and punch on the taste. Aftertaste has bitter and thick lingering but a bit thin in the mouth. Great golden orange colouring, lots of lacing with an initial big pillowy head.

Can smell the maple smoked bacon a mile away. A little sweet and some chemical taste afterwards. Takes awhile for it to develop into a pleasant taste, alot going on. Good effort, nice change up.

I can see why this beer divides opinion. It smells great, sweet maple syrup from the off, followed up by smoked bacon. Pours a murky orange with a thin head. Taste starts with the sweet maple, bacon is a subtle protein hint followed by the smoke. After a while the smoke does get a bit much but if you drink this beer at a nice leisurely pace then it is manageable. If you don’t like smoked beer stay away! If you don’t think beer can have a sense of humour, stay well clear!

Pours hazy orange amber with medium white head. Aroma is literally a pancake and mape syrup breakfast with a side of bacon... Actually makes me long to be back in the States. Taste is bitter-ish followed by long sweet maple syrup finish. Creamy smooth body with soft carbonation. Weird, to say the least. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled at Gothenburg Beer & Whisky festival, April 12th. Pours honey amber with no head. Aroma is very sweet with maple syrup, caramel and toffee along with some roasted notes and smoked bacon. Taste is also very sweet with maply syrup, caramel and toffee along with some smoked bacon. Mouthfeel is quite oily and somewhat sticky with no carbonation. Aftertaste is also sweet with honey and bacon dominating. Very strange.

Botella de 750ml. Copa Globo de Palm (notas del 2012). Color naranja oscuro y apariencia nublada. Palm Snifter glass (from my 2012 notes). Deep orange color & cloudy appearance. Off-white to light beige foam creates a thick crown. Complex aroma profile shows intense maple syrup, smoked malts, burnt candy, pancake, roasted notes & burnt wood. Smoked upfront followed by arising sweetness. Light to medium body. Moderate carbonation. Viscous mouthfeel. In the middle, touches of bacon & slight salty with biscuit maltiness linger in a sweet finish. Woody aftertaste. You´re gonna be shocked by strong sensations but the pink color bottle won´t be the main one !!

Barwa: miedziana, lekko zmętniona. Piana obfita, średnio pęcherzykowa, utrzymująca się. Wysycenie wysokie. [5/5] Aromat: początkowo syrop klonowy zmieszany ze spalenizną (a’la dym z ogniska). Następnie nuty estrowe i fenolowe.

Bomber poured into coffee mug. Pours a golden brown with no head, no lacing and minimal carbonation. Aroma is big maple, a hint of bacon. Flavor profile is very light, with touches of maple syrup and a faint proteiny bacon taste. Very underwhelming. Would not have again.

Bottle: Dense amber, lightly hazy with a decent sized, yet quickly fading white head. Aroma is amazing, smells like fresh, applewood smoked bacon drizzled with warm maple syrup & perhaps even candied slightly with brown sugar. I do not understand how things go so awry, but the flavor is god awful. All you can taste is smoke. Not good smoke... More like cigarette smoke. Over carbonated to hell, so each sip is sharp, astringent, & full of insanely bitter, palate raping ashy smoke. Hints of caramel... barely any maple. 98% ash-tray smoke. Not good. Amazing aroma, yet one of the worst tastes ever. What the hell?

Very Woody campfire smell. Way too strong. Hints of maple but it's overpowered by the campfire bacon smell. An interesting idea for a beer just not well executed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
