Almost pitch black pour with brown hue and off white/khaki thin head .... aroma of milk chocolate, light peanut butter and lots of caramel malts ..... taste is of bitter dark chocolate, lightly roasted malts, caramel malts and not much else .... disappointment, but drinkable

Poured into a glass. A deep reddish brown with a thin wispy head. Very sweet chocolate aroma with mild banana notes. Heavy chocolate up front with mild peanut butter and banana in the background. Different but delicious if you have a sweet tooth and a thirst for beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

It pours auburn with mahogany highlights; the head is off-white and foamy. The aroma has notes of: peanut skins, toffee, slight chocolate, and sweet malts. The taste is medium sweet that finishes medium bitter; there are notes of: the aforementioned aroma notes. The palate is light bodied, aqueous, has medium carbonation, and a short finish. Overall, doesn’t deliver it’s payload, and is dreadfully light - bleh.

I appear to be in the minority here but I actually really enjoyed this beer. It has a jet black color with a tan head. Interesting banana aroma, you kind of get a nutty component as well. Moderately bitter on the palate with a chocolate/coffee flavor as well as a fruity sweetness on the mid-palate.

Pours a near black with a tan head. Aroma of nutty banana and cocoa. Taste is sweet subtle banana with a smoked dark chocolate undertone and a peppery bite in the finish. Good. Not as over-the-top as the maple bacon offering. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This looks like a flat cola in a mug; I can see floaties in it too. Aroma is distinct with banana & chocolate but the presence of peanut I can’t detect. Flavour is a weak banana then trailing of to a dark chocolate roast. Body is really weak, really watery which is kind of an ick factor in this beer. While this is an interesting concept it just didn’t float with me, perhaps a thicker body would do something to this to add some zest, maybe more of a banana-alcohol flavour mix.

Boittle from the LCBO. Deep brown pour with a generous beige head. Aroma is as advertised. Chocolate and banana with s hint of peanut and vanilla. Taste is quite sweet but not overpowering and predominantly chocolate and banana. Mouth is thick with average carbonation. An interesting combination that needs to be taken in small doses.

Big bottle but not as terrible as I was hoping... lots of banana with some chocolate.
