Darrk brown color, small steady brownish head. Sweet "donut" aroma, some banana. Light bodied. Flavor has some spices light caramel, marzipan. Interesting.

Pour is brown with a small khaki head. Aroma is quite pleasant with chocolate leading the charge followed by banana, caramel, and fudge. Flavor is disappointing with the peanut butter faded to the background, although the banana shines a little more. Thin/watery, but not as bad as I was expecting.

660 ml bottle.
Pours a black colour with a small beigeish head. Aroma is very sweet with sugary banana candies, butter and syrup. Flavour of toastiness, chocolate, rather strong nuttiness and banana sweetness. Medium bodied, thin mouthfeel and low-ish carbonation. Finishes sharp, dry and malty. Thin and even lacks the sweetness the bacon maple version had. Boring.

Aroma: Very strong chocolate and banana smell( big surprise) overpowers any maltiness and hop aromas Taste: The chocolate, banana and PB tastes are strong at first but disappear very quickly and gives way to hop bitterness Appearance: very darl yet clear amber body, thin lace head retains well

750 Pepto Bismol-looking bottle from The Party Source. Pours a brown color with a small beige ring for a head. Chocolate, caramel, fudge, nuts, toast, and cola are present, with some sweet banana in there as well adding a sort of bananas foster character, but much more muted than the decadent dessert. Light-bodied, with medium carbonation and a dry, semi-sweet mouthfeel. Underwhelming in all aspects. I didn’t think it’d be great, but the last thing this beer should be is dull.

Wow this is some beer. Nice thick beige head, with some lacing. Deep, deep rich brown color that refuses to be seen though. The smell is a wallop of chocolate and candy floss. The taste is just right up there picking up the chocolate, that almost washes out any banana, malt with a sweet finish. Can’t decide if I love this beer or not. But I’ll buy it again. Thanks for trying something different.

Happy Thanksgiving. After dinner bomber with dessert. Actually much better than I was expecting. This was more like a chocolate porter or holiday ale. Pours nearly black. Aroma is cocoa powder, flavors are heavy chocolate up front, some faint banana, but no peanut butter at all (darn, was really hoping for that too). This works overall in a weird way, wish there was more PB though.

750 ml bottle. I picked this up last month while my wife and I were in Newport, RI. Shared with friends and family last night for Thanksgiving. The first thing I thought when I poured it is that it looked just like Coca Cola. The aroma is chocolate with perhaps a few notes of banana. The peanut butter is non-existent. The flavor is chocolate and caramel with barely a trace a banana and again, no sign of the peanut butter at all. A bit of banana in the aftertaste. Mild-moderate bitterness at the finish. Lighter in body than I was expecting. I guess thinking about peanut butter and bananas I was expecting something more dense, which in retrospect would probably have been way too cloying. Glad I shared it because there’s no way I could imagine getting down 750 ml of this stuff.

Very intriguing beer. The notes and flavors change as the beer warms. Peanut butter notes come through stronger as the beer warms. Banana hits throughout.

2013/11/22 - Pours a dark, cola brown with a thin, khaki coloured head. Aroma is banana, cocoa and smoke. Taste is similar to nose with a smokey malt finish. Mouthfeel is medium, with low carbonation and a drying finish. Didn't like this as much as the maple bacon version. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
