750 mL bottle from LCBO served cool in a tulip glass shared with friends. Deep brown with no head. Strong, somewhat artificial chocolate, nutty, banana esters, a little buttery, odd, not terrible. Oddly thin and too effervescent. Watery and harsh, some chocolate, a touch of banana and nuttiness, harsh; dry with inappropriate bitterness and a kinda weak, roasty finish. Not a big success!

Shared bottle at beer tasting. Smells like all 3 things, tastes like none of them, and none of them at the same time. Pretty funky. Probably wont buy again ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

22 oz bottle pours a dark brown color with a nice white head. Aromas of chocolate, banana, roasted malt, nuts. Medium bodied, unique and different

Dark brown pour with a thin white head. Aroma has a lot going on, defintely chocolate, peanut butter and banana as advertised. Very unique aroma. Flavor is roasty, with chocolate and a peanut buttery aftertaste. Definitely not as good as the aroma would indicate, but it’s tasty. Not too sweet, nice finish. Beer 1000 and it was a gift brought back from up North by my wife, so it gets an extra 2 points.

Sweet and strong banana aroma. Black color with small brown head. Light better beginning with a sweet finish.

Bottle at home. Roasted nuts and fruity banana on nose, little bit thin, dry chocolate roast, dry sticky nutty taste, light banana, awesome.

Not bad. Chocolate is prevalent, but not bitter like a choc stout. Banana is masked, but there. I don’t get the peanut butter. This is better than the maple bacon offering. Interesting.

This was unexpected. Pours black and thick. I didn’t really taste the banana. It’s more of a chocolate beer really. It was sweet, which I didn’t expect. There was a hint of peanut butter. It was nice to try but more of a specialty beer.

Bottle at The Bottle Shop Canterbury. Oxidised. Smells like a fairground. No it’s horrible. Oxidised thin in mouth and basically terrible. Nasty.
