Pours the deepest mahogany with an eggshell head that reduces to a light ring of suds. The nose has definite chocolate and raspberry. Roasted coffee, chocolate, raspberries and grains meet to a toasty finish. Medium-bodied and medium carbonation make for an easy pull. Still a little perplexed on what I'm supposed to be paying attention to. A lot going on here.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours deep dark brown with an amber hue when held up to the light. Aroma is pretzels, chocolate and raspberries...just like the bottle says. They all come through very distinctly and work well together, it is not a muddled mess as I had anticipated. Taste is tart with a sweet finish. Medium bodied, slick texture and overall a very decent beer for after dinner.

The palate is to watery, especially that it's color and aroma. The flavors of raspberry and dark cocoa with in the front ground. However it lacks almost everything else

A gift from my buddy Chad. Poured into a snifter. Black with minimal tan head. Had strong chocolate notes. Didn’t really get the raspberry or pretzel on the taste or aroma. Plenty of chocolate though. I liked this beer but was expecting way more in the taste department.
