75cl bottle shared @THT. Thin creamy off white head. Clear deep amber pour. I get some raspberry and a little chocholate. Don’t get the pretzel or doughnut. It’s an ok beer. Not upto Rogue’s usual standards

750 ml bottle from LCBO, served cool in a tulip glass. Murky deep mahogany/brown with a fluffy tan head. Decent chocolate and raspberry, a slightly salty note, biscuit. Medium-ish body, relaxed carbonation. Weak chocolate, reasonable raspberry, biscuit; dry with gentle bitterness, slightly tart, with a chocolate and raspberry finish. Not bad, not great.

Too sweet. Too cloying. A bit fake tasting. I get what they are trying to do. Jus not my cup of tea.

[Bottle (750ml) shared with GregClow, HogTownHarry, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o HogTownHarry] Pours a very dark brown with a small semi-lasting frothy beige head. Aroma: Ech. Raspberry-filled donut candy -- so fake smelling. Flavour is overly sweet and syrupy. Average bodied. Too sweet and artificial, I did not care for this.

Reddish brown black colour, beige head. Aroma of maple syrup, caramel, raspberry, lots of caramel. Sweet flavour, bread, light sour notes, chocolate. Sweet finish, caramel, malts, light fruity.
(from bottle @ joes’ bbq tasting, Oirschot. Thanks for sharing, Joris!)

My third brew in the Voodoo Donut series. Pours a brown colour, looks hazy through the highlights. Fizzy beige head that disappears quickly, leaving minimal lacing that disappears... leaving nothing. Beautiful sweet nose of raspberry jam with notes of chocolate, roasted malts and some hops. The taste is not as sweet, as the roasted malts and hops cover the berry juices. Hints of chocolate in the background. Brewed with pretzel, but not much signs of them. More felt in the mouthfeel, which is nice with a little tartiness. Still, a real good fruity-chocolaty beer. The better one so far.

Raspberry and chocolate flavour. Opaque dark brown colour. Chocolate front with mild bitterness ad raspberry finish. Medium body with mild carbonation. Enjoyable, but a bit disappointed with the lack of pretzel flavour.
