Near black pour with a thin, creamy tan head. Aroma is mostly chocolate syrup with some toasty, nutty and light fruity notes in there. Flavor is hot fudge and nice sweet raspberry notes, not a seedy raspberry taste like most raspberry flavored beers end up having, throw in a little roasted nuts and salted caramel toward the end and thatís about it. Light to medium body, creamy to syrupy feel, medium and sharp carbonation and still slightly syrupy, somewhat dry finish with a touch of fruity acidity. Pretty good overall, canít say itís worth anywhere near the $13/750ml price tag, but, I have paid more for much worse.

Aroma: hint of raspberry and chocolate. Not strong. App: black but no head. Taste: light chocolate, hint of raspberry. Palate: surprisingly thin. Overall: tastes a lot like water, extremely disappointed and not even remotely worth $15 a bottle.

750 ml. bottle. Pours a thin, poorly retained, beige head, over an initially clear later particle laden, dark brown (SRM 30) body....nose is coffee, chocolate, hints of raspberry, minimal hops, balance to the malts and the adjuncts....taste is chocolate, coffee, light raspberry, slightly sweet, finishing with a mild roasted malt/hop bitterness.....mouth feel, light body, no alcohol, slight astringency. The coffee notes dominate over much, and the various other adjuncts are just there. The particle laden second pour, raises the question of bad storage. Also, never trust a beer in a pink bottle.
