3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Near black pour with a thin, creamy tan head. Aroma is mostly chocolate syrup with some toasty, nutty and light fruity notes in there. Flavor is hot fudge and nice sweet raspberry notes, not a seedy raspberry taste like most raspberry flavored beers end up having, throw in a little roasted nuts and salted caramel toward the end and that’s about it. Light to medium body, creamy to syrupy feel, medium and sharp carbonation and still slightly syrupy, somewhat dry finish with a touch of fruity acidity. Pretty good overall, can’t say it’s worth anywhere near the $13/750ml price tag, but, I have paid more for much worse.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
BOTTLE. Got a different taste with each mouthful on this voodoo. but overall got a lot of dough up front with a very slight raspberry sweetness & finished with the chocolate bitterness for a very entertaining mouth full! Pours a thin jet black with little head & I seemed to get a bit more choc & less pretzel out of the glass then bottle....

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Once it does, there’s some light lacing sticking around the glass and eventually sliding into the beer.
The smell, well, it is exactly how Rogue did it. Initially, it started out bready, but the more it warmed, there was definitely the pretzel and then the raspberry combined with the chocolate, well, it was there - no doubt.
The taste was a bready to somewhat salty to a fruity sweet and yet a chocolate sweet all together never straying from its unique flavor.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with not much of a sessionable quality as it seems there’s just too much going on.
Overall, well, Rogue did exactly what they wanted to do. What is on the label is in the beer and to me, well, it smells and tastes authentic to me. Would I have this again? Probably not, and it because of the price - $16.99. I only got it because I got about $4 off.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle, shared with Robbie. Dark brown with amber highlights. As suggested on the label: chocolate syrup, raspberry candy, caramel. Extract laden nose and palate, artificial, gimmicky--- Rogue needs to reclaim its soul and quit this kind of bullshit beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a near clear dark brown with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of chocolate with a bit of raspberry and a dark grain backbone. Flavor has a chocolate raspberry combination with a hint of pretzel and strong dark grain backbone.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
660 ml bottle
Appearance: Near opaque, ruby-brown body with on top of it very big creamy tanned head, leaving a few spots of lacing.
Aroma: Chocolate, Rapsberries
Taste; Very Sweet Chocolate, followed by the rapsbeerries. Then in the finish some more biterness and jus a bi of saltyness (probably the pretzels) to make it more l drinkable.
Palate is smooth and light, actuall a thin body for it’s style with average carbonation. (probably again to keep it drinkable.)
Not a fruit beer in it’s traditional sense. No it’s more a crazy stout.. With a botle looking at that you’ve bene allready warned that this will be something different.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours the deepest mahogany with an eggshell head that reduces to a light ring of suds. The nose has definite chocolate and raspberry. Roasted coffee, chocolate, raspberries and grains meet to a toasty finish. Medium-bodied and medium carbonation make for an easy pull. Still a little perplexed on what I'm supposed to be paying attention to. A lot going on here.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours deep dark brown with an amber hue when held up to the light. Aroma is pretzels, chocolate and raspberries...just like the bottle says. They all come through very distinctly and work well together, it is not a muddled mess as I had anticipated. Taste is tart with a sweet finish. Medium bodied, slick texture and overall a very decent beer for after dinner.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The palate is to watery, especially that it's color and aroma. The flavors of raspberry and dark cocoa with in the front ground. However it lacks almost everything else
