3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Near black pour with a thin, creamy tan head. Aroma is mostly chocolate syrup with some toasty, nutty and light fruity notes in there. Flavor is hot fudge and nice sweet raspberry notes, not a seedy raspberry taste like most raspberry flavored beers end up having, throw in a little roasted nuts and salted caramel toward the end and thatís about it. Light to medium body, creamy to syrupy feel, medium and sharp carbonation and still slightly syrupy, somewhat dry finish with a touch of fruity acidity. Pretty good overall, canít say itís worth anywhere near the $13/750ml price tag, but, I have paid more for much worse.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle....smells like chocolate and raspberry. ..not much for pretzel. Very dark brown not much head. Watery, didnt expect that. Its got a zingy effervescence to it. Not a crunch of pretzel in this...maybe it would be good with pretzels? Anyway the raspberry and chocolate are nice. No big whoop.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
tasty brew that doesnít really drink like a beer - too sweet for that. Liked the raspberry. The chocolate too, though it seemed a little fake. Fun to have and Iíd get it again if it wasnít so expensive.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22ozír at a bottle share. Dark pour with a tan head. Aromas of chocolate for sure. Some berry and cherry type fruits. Flavor fell off from the nose. Chocolate was more like mockolate. but still different and I like different.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Lovely big head, and a black body. Nose is sweet and confected, like easter egg chocolate. Taste is great. Much beerier than expected, itís a good dark malty beer, with some very sweet chocolate thrown in, plus maybe a splash of raspberry juice. I couldnít taste anything like pretzel.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
APPEARANCE - sort of black, but itís really dark brown.
NOSE - smells like a tootsie roll right out of the bottle, opens up to the slightest of raspberry hints.
FLAVOR - huge dissapointment compared to the scent. I think Iíd rather have the taste of fake tootsie roll beer flowing down my throat than the actual flavor. It tastes somewhat watered down, with the slightest hint if chocolate aftertaste.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
This bottled brew from a beer festival poured a head of foamy finely sized tan colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark brown colored body and a fair lacing. The weak aroma was malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish with a mild chocolate aftertaste. The soft flavor contained notes of semi-sweet mild citrus chocolate and dark malt. An OK brew just nothing special.
