Bottled. Pours slightly hazy and deep golden with a medium sized off-white head. Leaving a fair lacing on the glass. Aroma of oranges , grass and caramel. Sweet flavor that ends up more dry and solid bitter. Medium bodied, oily texture and soft CO2. An excellent IPA, ★★★★
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 snids (3) - Bangkok, THAILAND - APR 20, 2013 does not count
Bottle, Bangkok. AR: caramel, earthy, citrus. AP: orange, amber, hazy, frothy head. Taste: medium sweet, strong NW hops bitter, balance malt backbone. PT: slick, medium body, medium carbonation, lingering earthy-malt finish (malt comes through as the hops ease up). Wish it was cheaper here--stupid Thai import taxes.

I love IPA’s but not the biggest fan of this IPA. I guess i was just expecting more of explosion of taste that was not there.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BeerFlavoredBeer (230) - New Hampshire, USA - APR 10, 2013
The Amarillo and the Pacman yeast mesh really well with this one. Had it on draft. Great hoppy bouquet to it. Bitterness is very in-your-face, but there’s some great grapefruit and orange zest flavors in there. This is a solid IPA.
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Jado (255) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - APR 9, 2013
Pours clear orange-amber with a fluffy but collapsing white head and lots of sparkle. Aromas of tropical fruit, caramel and lemon on the nose. The taste shows typical American IPA profile of assertive bitterness up front, but that falls off fairly quickly to more balanced flavours of orange peel, grapefruit, lemon juice and a slight biscuity sweetness from the malt profile. Creamy mouthfeel. Spicy finish with a lingering aftertaste. Excellent American style IPA.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 ComradeK (737) - Blue Mountains, AUSTRALIA - APR 8, 2013
355ml bottle. Pours a hazy medium gold, with a medium off-white head, which lasts very well and leaves good lacing. Grapefruit, lemon and faint pine resin hops dominate the aroma, with a touch of caramel malt in there. A touch of caramel sweetness up front is soon overcome by potent lemon and grapefruit hops. These are smoothed out by caramel and mildly nutty malt in the mid-palate. The finish has strong grapefruit and pine resin hops along with a slight charry flavour. This is a nice, potent IPA, with enough malt presence to back up its hops. An enjoyable IPA indeed.

Bomber. Golden yellow with a white frothy head. Light hops and heavy urine aroma...aptly named. Light hop taste and smooth.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 AndySnow (1199) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - APR 1, 2013
Draught at Faucets, Tokyo. Clear amber colour with a white head. Strong hops aroma. Perfume flavour. A bit too much hops and perfume.
3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 beer-yum (64) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 31, 2013
Was disappointed in this beer. Started off well, aroma and colour was good and initial taste was fine - albeit nothing out of the ordinary for an IPA. But after that it went downhill with what I’d describe as a ’benzine’ aftertaste. May have been a bad batch...will try it again and update then.
