Hazy light yellow orange pour with a small white head that leaves some decent lace. Nose is tropical fruit with a light caramel and honey background with a dose of barnyard. Sweet honey and toffee start with a good measure of grapefruit and pine bitterness. Medium mouth and average carbonation. Long dry bitter finish.

Nothing in particular makes this stand out from the plethora of IPA’s available, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t a great beer. Fruity and hoppy with a smooth finish. Rogue doesn’t let down.

csaso (1366) - Missouri, USA - MAY 19, 2014
Bottle - fair size foamy head, hazy medium straw color, good size lemony/grapefruit hop aroma and flavor, mild malt backbone, dry-yeasty spice finish - nothing super special, but a good solid IPA overall

On tap in Durham, very light aroma of citrus (actually no significant aroma of any taste), nice gold colour, quite bitter at the end. A bit disappointed as the rating on rb is quite high. Definitely worth trying one.

Teku glass/shaker. Golden/orange color with big, white head with medium retention, little hazy Medium lacing. Low aroma of tropical fruits (pinnaple), some low to medium citrus aromas (grapefruit), also low aroma of floral notes. Also noticable medium aromas of pale malts. The taste is medium sweet, at first dominant by ale malts, but soon you can taste medium bitterness - mainly from grapefruit-like hops. It’s consistant (bitterness) thru all the time. Some amarillo sweetness is noticable, but at low level. Light biscuitAlso you can feel and taste some floral notes. Mouthfeel is pretty dominant by amarillo hops - sweetness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Semi-dry. Sticky texture. Zesty and asharp. Very low alcohol warmth. I think it’s too much zesty and refreshing for a winter beer. Another time my bottle came from to Europe from the US so the hoppy character is not as dominant, as it should be. You can feel some citrus and tropical fruit character. It could be recognizable by it’s bitter character. I can say that this is very average AIPA.

Pours an orange color with a white head. Grassy, hoppy aroma with citrus tones. Bitter and very sweet taste, gradually getting more and more bitter. This is a cool experience! Nice beer.
