Huge bitter pine aroma. Nice biscuit malt, fruity and pine hops. Long bitter finish. this beer is really solid. Lots of bitterness, pine, some grapefruit and a fantastic aroma and lingering bitterness. 848416

On draught at the Issaquah brewhouse. Aroma is a slightly hazy gold with a good white head. Flavor is earthy, sour hops forward followed by low maltiness. Simple. Mouthfeel is medium/low bodied with low carb texture. Overall, a little too earthy and not quite complex enough.

amirello is a great aroma and maybe flavoring hop, but not a good bittering hop, still a great drinking beer

Rogue has this one pretty well dialed in, the bitterness might be tuned back a bit but I think it’s just better blended with the huge hop flavor,

Growler shared by Angie and Shawn at a beerinator gathering about a month ago. Thanks! This beer smelled like skunky, piney, cannabis. A very nice quaff I might add. Flavor was a bit more like an ipa, with a lot of hops and a bitter finish. A pretty nice beer from Rogue.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Magjayran (1379) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - AUG 11, 2007
Tap at Tyler’s in Durham. Orange with a nice big white head. The aroma is pine, pine, pine, citrus, fresh flowers, and pine. Supremely bitter taste with more grapefruit citrusy goodness. Very nice!
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 lb4lb (2044) - Austin, Texas, USA - AUG 9, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 14, 2007 Good medium honey amber pour with lasting white head. Smell is of big grassy, fruity, floral hops. Taste is grassy, hoppy, pretty bitter, and not as sweet malt or caramel backed as I prefer in IPAs, but this wasn’t bad. Nice hoppy taste, a touch bland and feels like it needs something...Bit watery body too.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 SDbruboy (1864) - San Diego, California, USA - AUG 7, 2007
This was a special hand bottled treat from the awesome slob! Poured nice hazy orange amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is mildly malty with some grain notes, alfalfa characteristics, hops are prominent and lightly citrus with a bit of grapefruit. Hop dominant flavor, like grapefruit juice with a tart-acidic sweetness, hints of pine and an astringent finish. Medium body, slightly flat character that may have been the result of the hand bottling from a growler, but still some light carbonation evident. Thanks for the opportunity to get this one Bert!

draft. Another winner from Rogue. Very resiny, dry IPA that quenched thirst in a big way.
