This IPA from Rogue is a bit cloudy, but it is a mellow and earthy great tasting IPA that has good mouth feel and finish. Iíd drink it more often but itís only seasonally available.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. How ironic in Wis. in the winter and find this one. Good grapefruit aroma on the nose. Copper body with white head and some lace. Citrus flavor thought beer and cool and refreshing on the palate. Make me want to go play in the smow.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
650 bottle. Pours a cloudy golden yellow with a large, clingy white head that slowly fades. Taste is of hops, pine, grapefruit and malt. Nice bitter and mildly sweet lingering finish. Similar aroma. Nice creamy/oily body. A nice beer to sip.

3.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
This has the most glorious smell I have ever gotten from an IPA- huge flowers and citrus that just overtakes your whole face. The head is also gigantic and fluffy. Lasts long. The flavor is a strong hop sting at first, but it quickly mellows into a malty smoothness and disappears. Itís no Two-Hearted, but itís certainly up there for me. Bottle at Stop and Shop next to Titanic in Miami.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Secret Santa. A little apprehensive, since Iíve never really enjoyed anything from Rogue. Nose is pleasantly floral and a little resiny. Taste is a burst of floral hops then a silky light caramel/brown sugar malt, then a wallop of grapefruity amarillo to finish. Pretty well-done beer that I really enjoyed. Thanks, Santa.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a hazy golden color. Thick foamy lasting white head. Lots of carbonation bubbles. Hoppy citrus aromas. Lots of floral hints. Some coriander. Some beginnings of citrus on the first sip then a blast of hoppy bitterness. There is enough balance here to keep most interested and enough hops to satisfy the hopheads. Overall a very good beer for those who love the bitter.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very nice beer but like most from Rogue has a ísamenessí about it (albeit the house style is very good). Nose shows sweet malts but the palate is more about reasonably agressive hop character. That said the malts didnít ever let up. Good beer, a touch thick structure-wise, and wonít really further the cause of new world IPA.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy, amber color with a moderate, frothy white head. Lacing is moderate. Aromas of citrus, spruce, ginger, and light bread. Palate is lively to start but then finishes somewhat flat. Bitter throughout the drink though, which is nice. Taste is strong initially but then it fades quickly, which seems to be a pattern for Rogue beers. Overall a very good beer but please remember this is coming from a hop head.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a burnished deep orange with a slight haze, topped with a robust and creamy white head. Big aromas of citrus peel and pine, and so goes the flavour as well, with juicy and mouth-puckering grapefruit notes coming through, right from the aggressive opening to the long and (literally) bitter end. Thereís enough fruity sweetness in there to offer at least a hint of balance, but really, this is all about the hops, which is fine by me.
