Tap...maybe the keg was bad as this stuff was awful...deary yellow pour with little to no aroma. The taste was even worse than the smell, but I can see where they got the name from as this stuff tasted of urine. Straight up nasty.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pale yellow with a nice dense of white head. Strong pine and mild malt sweetness. Medium body and dry with a prickly hop bitterness. Not a huge hop head but I’m always in for a six pack around the holidays each year.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to shaker glass. Pours hazy golden, nice two inch off white head, decent lacing and retention. Aroma of pink grapefruit, mango and cereal. Taste is high medium bitter, lightly sweet. Medium body, lively carbonation, resin oil, soapy mouth feel. Finishes dry and bitter. Tasting notes of bread, lemon rind, grapefruit, slightly metallic. Rogue’s ale yeast has a distinct flavor that I recognize from past samplings. A good chewy IPA.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12oz brown bottle with cool label from Whole Foods into a Spieglau IPA glass. It poured a clear golden amber colour with persistent off-white foam and lace. Very nice appearance. Aromas of black currants, cereal grains, honey, pulpy orange juice, hot tomato garden, pumpkins and grape kool-aid (strange but true.) Intense American high-alpha bitterness, pleasant but not exactly smooth. Flavours: suitably malty, but undeniably balanced toward the strong hop characteristics: grapefruit pith, tangerines, black pepper, dandelion leaves, chicory root, radish. Light-medium body, average carbonation, long-lasting hoppy aftertastes. An aggressive American IPA for sure. Perhaps not my favourite, but a very good one, and not the same run-of-the-mill profile at least. I didn’t realize until after tasting it, that Yellow Snow IPA is an Amarillo single-hop brew. Obviously, this is a bold American hop possessing the predictable grapefruit/pine/black currant traits, but so much more as well. Great stuff, I’ll gladly drink this again.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap, poured into a stein. The aroma is initially floral, but turns towards a dank, herb and citrus with a light sulfer/catty smell. It pours a slightly hazy, orange amber, with a filmy and soapy white head that looks like it tries to retain a medium ring and film surface, but both disappear by mid glass. It does leave an ample lace along the glass. The taste is intially a sharp, medium sweet, followed by an acute, high bitter. It’s oily and fuzzy with a medium body that starts with notes of sweet citrus - lemon, lime, and dominantly orange - but this mellows as it finishes with a sharp, herbal, grassy, and waxy bitter along with some spruce. It’s a dry beer, with a sharp, grass and herb, astringent, bitter aftertaste that lingers.
