2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Cloudy, mucky yellowish orange brew that produced a huge white tit above my glass. Leaves lots of messy lacing. The aroma is of tons of citrus, grapefruit, lemon, pine, ok malts. the aroma is pretty interesting but Iím not sure if this is in a good way. Pretty floral as well. But there is an odd smell that Iím thinking just smells like tropical fruit that has been sliced up and has sat in the open for longer than it should. Something else almost gamey. The taste is ok at best - there is nothing wrong but there is nothing that would place this above any of the random IPAís available - stiff grapefruit that leaves my mouth amazingly dry, sweet lemon, weak caramel - however there is a very real malt backbone to this brew - one that just dulls the hop attack enough to make this chuggable. Light medium bodied or less, forgettable mouth feel - very unspectacular. Finishes with lots of grapefruit bitterness and then just vanishes from your mind. More sediment than I would want from this style if I want to be a cosmetic bitch about it. A very uninteresting IPA albeit totally drinkable. But if you like a good bitter after taste this gets that done for you. Iíll end up with an overpriced mini keg this summer, I just know it. Itís just so plain - yea, Iíve had alot of West coast IPAís and I like them all, including this one but why would I spend money on this? This would be one of my last IPA choices. A Rogue failure in my eyes mainly because it is so damn boring. Just buy anything else.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Opaque bronze pour with a large eggshell topper. Solid aroma--orange rind and sweet perfume. Sweet up front with a well balanced bitterness. Mild resin, orange peel, and floral bouquet. A little sticky on the palate. Delicious.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a nice medium orange. Medium to large creamy off-white head. Aroma is clean fruity hoppy, little perfumey, creamy citrus, orange, mango, peach, caramel and pale malty to balance. Medium body. Good strong bitterness and just enough balancing sweetness. Flavor adds some resin and a little more grapefruit than aroma. Good beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy light golden color, with one finger of head that lasts a while, and leaves good lacing. Smells of grapefruit, tangerine, orange zest. Light aroma of lightly toasted malts. The taste starts off with a peppery grapefruit flavor. Then you get tangerine and orange zest. Middle of the mouth you get light malt flavors. And the beer ends with grapefruit and pine notes. Overall, this is a really fresh and drinkable IPA. I would buy it again!

It is a good day when you drink this from a tap. Probably my favourite IPA. Lovely balance, with a long lasting bitterness. Straightforward delicious IPA.

Bottle at Billís Olde Tavern. Golden (yellow) with thick white head. A refreshing IPA with more hop kick than expected. Lots of lemon and grapefruit. Would do this one again.
