2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: NOV 30, 2013 22oz Bottle. The pour was a hazy medium orange with a large (2-3 finger) off white rocky head that lasted throughout and produced some good streaky lacing.
The aroma was kind of mild of floral and pine hops, a straw malt and a mild earthy cobweb yeast with a hint of caramel and citrus (lemon peel and orange peel).
The taste was moderately bitter with an ever so slight trace of caramel at first, and then very quickly became extremely bitter with a huge dose of a harsh bitter citrus peel at the end. The flavor hung around longer that I would have liked being mostly of a harsh bitter citrus peel taste and not much else.
Mouthfeel was just above light in body with an extremely dry texture and an almost prickly carbonation.
Overall an IPA that was just a bit harsher that I would have liked, to much citrus peel taste for my liking...

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. The prototypical Northwest American IPA. Bold golden yellow color, medium white billowy head that lasts throughout, soapy lacing all over the glass. Big grapefruit and pine aroma, some caramel malt as well. Taste is dominated by the grapefruit and pine bitterness, evened out by the caramel and bready malts, but still leaves a long bitter finish. Very easy to drink, abv is right in the sweet spot of an IPA.

Love Rogue and think this would be a great summer beer... but this one is just a little too bitter for me. But I am going through a chocolate stout phase!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cor laranja e um pouco turva; espuma branca de média/alta formação e alta persistência com formação de excrlente lacing em semicírculos consecutivos do lado do copo que não vai a boca;
Aroma tímido, mas agradável e delicado floral, de pudim e cítrico (limão e toranja);
Sabor com leve base se biscoito e caramelo já amargo de início e com amargor mais pronunciado no final cm um pouco do cítrico da toranja; retrogosto adstringente; corpo leve e carbonatação média. Não é uma ROGUE surpreendente.
