larsam (127), Southampton, Bedfordshire, England Sep 7, 2005 Red brown. Nice foamy head
leaving lacings as you drink. Flowers and citrus from the hops in the
nose. Rather mild bitterness with a reasonable maltiness and
pronounced flowery taste with some grapefruit. madcow75 (425), Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, USA Sep 5, 2005 22 oz. bottle. Pours cloudy dark amber color with thin off white head. Decent lacing as I drank. Kind of a tart aroma, reminds me of chewable vitamin C I used to eat as a kid. Very mild Bitter tastewise. I can drink this on a nice hot day. Very mild hop taste, decent malt body. Thin on the palate. No aftertaste. I like Brutal better. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA Sep 1, 2005 Mildly spicy and citrus hop aroma. Cloudy amber with a thumb thick head. Easy drinking ale with a mild hop presence medium malt body and somewhat thin palate. Decent enough. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Aug 31, 2005 Great colour. Nce amount of hops. Thought I tasted a hint of citrus. Foamy head. Jeppe (2638), Ølbutikken, Denmark Aug 27, 2005 Pours hazy dark orange with a foamy off-white head. Creamy and malty aroma with some spicy hints and orange notes - nice and balanced. Malt and hop flavor with a dry and dusty edge. Pretty light in the taste and a bit thin, but easy drinkable. Hmmm..... Ungstrup (14758), Frederiksberg, Denmark Aug 26, 2005 An orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is OK hoppy, while the flavor is dry hoppy, and the body is thin. OK, but I had expected more, so I’m somewhat disappointed. Emil (6075), Copenhagen, Denmark Aug 26, 2005 Bottle. Dark amber colour with a off-white head. Malty light hoppy aroma and a dry hoppy light bitter taste. Medium body and a dry finish. madsberg (4875), Søborg, Denmark Aug 26, 2005 Bottled: Light amber coloured. Unclear. Beige head. Has this spruce needle aroma you find in many of these hoppy american beers. Not that it by any meens is unpleasent, but beers tend to be very similar. Oh well. Herbs, some fruity and loads of malts in the aroma. Flavour is herbal and malty with some vague choco notes. Is light fruity with a bitter touch in the end.
