brewblackhole (1367), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA Dec 3, 2004 Refreshing balanced malt hop aroma, light amber orange color, mildly sugar sweet amlt taste which fades quickly. A good beer to wean someone off macros hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA Nov 20, 2004 Bottle. Medium size off-white head, minimal lacing, transparent, carbonated, and an orange hue. Malty, some caramel, hoppy, and grapefruit aroma. Sweet, acidic, bitter, malty, and hoppy flavor. Tingly mouthfeel. Quite drinkable. humulus (338), Salem, Missouri, USA Nov 15, 2004 A nice brown brew with apple sauce head. The aroma is floral, brown sugar and apple. Essentially no sweetness. Dull hops. Smells bitter but not so in the taste. Like a cross between a brown ale and an APA. Great aroma, else flacid. jcc83 (137), Athens, Georgia, USA Nov 10, 2004 Amber with a frothy white head. Aroma is a lively, slightly citrusy hoppiness. Very nice hop-dominated flavor, fruity and fairly bitter, but well balanced by the malts. Much like a mild IPA to my senses. This is a really nice beer: easy to drink, yet full of stimulating hop flavors. Another excellent Rogue. pantani (1895), Salinas, California, USA Nov 9, 2004 Nice hoppy aroma with hints of pepper, malt and ripened fruit. Body is amber with thin white head. Very nice and fruity, this is the first bitter that I’ve had that I can say is a very good beer. Wonderful. johnyvt (157), West Hollywood, California, USA Nov 3, 2004 Updated: Apr 29, 2005An excellent, if not too exotic bitter. Amber color, citric hop aroma. Smooth taste with noticeable, but not too overpowering caramel taste. Nicely balanced texture. Dickinsonbeer (3434), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Nov 2, 2004 Light amber color with almost no head. Decent aroma of goldings hops, and some fruitiness from the yeast. Good malty flavor with an ok balance but a little on the light side. Doesnt compare to some real english styles like fullers. chinreallyfat (21), Chula Vista, California, USA Oct 31, 2004 Great amber color. Medium body. Very drinkable, with moderate hops and not overpowering malt. Great for parties and other events, such as mowing lawns.
