3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 TAR (2346) - Lafayette, Colorado, USA - OCT 24, 2001
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2006 Clear light copper. Off white foam of sticky froth. Slightly subdued aroma of leaf, light phenol, lemon zest, buttery pale malts, and a touch of nuttiness. Well carbonated palate, buttery, and round. Intense buttered malts are all over the place and are perfectly complimented by earthy, hop leaf undertones. The malt profile here is exquisite, which seems to linger for an eternity. Slight phenolic aroma is its only downfall. Regardless a textbook bitter.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 fishman (350) - Philadelphia, USA - SEP 7, 2001
There was a massive amount floating yeast in this brew. Reddish brown with a persistant head. Slightly fruity with pervading hops. Very smooth and very tasty.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Delbomber (387) - Philadelphia, USA - SEP 6, 2001
Bold yet refined, featuring a hoppy, fruit aroma, lots of floating yeast, and a cloudy, red-brown body. Primary flavors are hops with some apple crispness. Bitter finish witha head that lasts throughout. Quite good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 fraternie (777) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 16, 2001
Another great Ale from Rogue...strong apple flavor followed by a nice dose of hops that sticks around for awhile. The bitterness is balanced very well by the fruity flavor.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 billb (244) - Kennesaw, Georgia, USA - MAY 13, 2001
Another fairly good offering from Rogue. Good hop aroma and flavor. Balanced mouthfeel with malt on the base of the tongue and hops on the side. Just the right amount of carbonation. Also passed the true test of a great brew, that being, as it got warmer, it got better! Went well with the chicken and cheese hoagie I was enjoying with it.
