Floral, earth, and citrus aroma notes. Golden-Amber with thick, lasting white head. Citrus (orange), caramel, and biscuit flavours. Medium bitterness and quite sessionable.

Crushed with Jakebra. Bitter hops. Oh yeah, this is a good bitter. A excellent bitter actually, only compared to their brutal one, it’s a pussy. Still good.

Had on tap at Fat Head’s in Pittsburgh under the moniker ’’Fat Head’s Ale’’. Pours copper color with a thick white head. Smells hoppy with slight maltiness. Tastes slightly hoppy with a caramel and malty accents. Perfect amount of carbonation. Easily my favorite bitter.

650ml brown bottle. Orange brown colour. Head is creamy and rocky, leaves sticky lace. Malt aroma, trace of earth, caramel and hop. Flavour of caramel malt, mild citrus hops. Moderate hoppy finish. Light body, tight carbonation. Good session beer. ABV on bottle states 5.3%.

Cask @ Horse Brass Pub, Portland. Pours a clear amber color with a small off-white head. Has a malty hoppy aroma with some caramel hints. Smooth malty hoppy flavor with some caramel hints also some hints of citrus. Has a slightly sweetish malty hoppy caramel finish.

Pours a nice thick sudsy head with an tan color. The color is a cloudy orang amber and the nose is nice and floral. Initially it has a nice bitter flavor mixed with caramel malt and some mild spice. It is also nice and earthy on the palate. The finish is very weak and could use more bitterness since it is a bitter, also the carbonation is on the low side.

Not a bad beer, but not how I like my ESBs. Bottle from Lees. Aroma of rose, soemary and malt; flavors of rosemary and malt. The spicy nature mitigates the thick, caramel-like maltiness of what I view as an ideal ESB.

POurs an amber color with a small white head. Aroma was of plain malts and some caramel. Flavor was really plain, like most bitters, nothing to write home about at all.
