Sweet nose with hints of vanilla. Flavor is well balanced with a nice herbal hop bitterness. Though, the hops seem a bit on the old side. Creamy mouthfeel with fair carbonation. But as with all Rogue, overpriced. elihapa (1051), Honolulu, California, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 1, 2008 Pours a nice thick sudsy head with an tan color. The color is a cloudy orang amber and the nose is nice and floral. Initially it has a nice bitter flavor mixed with caramel malt and some mild spice. It is also nice and earthy on the palate. The finish is very weak and could use more bitterness since it is a bitter, also the carbonation is on the low side.
