Small head with little lacing on top of apple cider colored beer. Medium carb and medium watery body. Bit of cider taste but not very sweet. Nice bittering - crisp. Like a dry pils. A little weak and watery though. Bockyhorsey (2561), Mesa, Arizona, USA

Body was darker shade of orange. Tan decent head. Decent hop flavor and was quite refreshing on the palate seeing it’s 110 today. Good Beer. dwyerpg (2553), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Unfortunately it has almost a honey flavoring to it, which, in my opinion is the worst thing you can add to a beer unless you’re attempting to make mead. Otherwise, very nice. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 2, 2003 Beautiful orange-amber colour with a slight haziness. Sweet malty nose with some floral and citrus notes in the background. Flavour starts sweet and full, and then moves into a very pleasant, grapefuity hop bitterness. Really solid. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA

Clear amber coloured body with ruby highlights. Aroma of caster sugar, light hops, cardboard and not much nice. Light-bodied; Funky sweet, nutty flavour that isn't pleasant. Aftertaste bitter, but not impressive. Overall, not great...and from this fact alone-we know it's a Rogue beer! I sampled this 65 cL bottle on 15-May-2004 at the May RB Party in Toronto, Ontario.
Cloudy brown in colour, great strong smell with hints of anise...great flavourful beer! A little of a hoppy ending as well! OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Aroma is of yeast and light hops. Flavor is earthy and sweet to start with and finishes somewhat bitter yet with a good sweet aftertaste. A good bitter. I haven’t had a bad brew from Rogue yet. Tasty and a good session beer. Volgon (2490), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

This beer is an awesome session beer. I so wish I could get this on a regular basis. The hops are in this beer, both flavor & bittering, and they are perfectly balanced by the malt.
