swamptours (28), Romulus, Michigan, USA Jul 11, 2002 About as good as it gets. Absolutely fantastic aroma and taste. Yummmy, yummmy bbp182 (255), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 26, 2007 The one I had was only available in Pittsburgh at the Fat Head Saloon. You can smell the hops. Its an amber color, full to medium body, Sorta has an Unsweetened iced tea aftertaste. Hoppy but not overwhelming. Delicious. khayman70 (154), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA Dec 19, 2002 The color and flavor of this bitter were very enjoyable. I think it compares nicely with Young’s. The finish is dry and you don’t want it to end.
unclemattie (2370), Georgia, USA Aug 8, 2006 This beer is offered on CASK at the HORSEBRASS PUB in Portland, OR. (AKA Billy) Amber color, beautiful lacing on the english imperial pint glass. perfectly balanced w a bitter finish. I wish all English Style Beers had a body like this beer. Perfect texture. Plus it goes great with a Tradional English Breakfast! ttboy8099 (73), Corvallis, Oregon, USA Feb 6, 2002 Closest thing to a true english bitter around here. Smooth, and you can drink many of these due to the low carbonation and less sweetness. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 28, 2004 An excellent ESB - one of the best that I’ve tried. Still haven’t had a bad Rogue brew. Darkover (1308), Columbus, Ohio, USA Feb 24, 2002 Light amber color, small head, very bubbly. Nice hop aroma and flavor. This is like a mild version of Stone IPA or Bell’s Two hearted ale TheBeerCollector (548), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Oct 6, 2002 One of my favorite ESB’s. Flavor starts on the malty side but the hops soon kick in for a bitter, but balanced finish. Another great brew from Rogue.
