Balanced hoppy ale with sufficient malt palate. Good clean caramel flavors with floral hop notes. Nice and easy drinking, and one of Rogue’s better balanced ales. Primary flavors are hops with some apple crispness. Bitter finish witha head that lasts throughout. Quite good. fishman (349), Philadelphia, USA

Slightly fruity with pervading hops. Very smooth and very tasty. amceachern99 (70), Albany, Oregon, USA

Fairly heavy bodied. Very little malt sweetness. Very dry thoughout. Sharp bitter finish. Very late finish of caramel malt. I most likely drank this a bit to cold and should have let it warm up to catch all the flavors. But it was good and the first one always goes down quickly. elnadeau (786), Laguna Niguel, California, USA

Took me three times to warm up to this brew; the first two bottles (different sessions) it wasn't bad but 3rd times a charm. Huge head, medium bodied with a strong malt character that is actually quite distinctive and enjoyable.
