MoritzF (3865), Ruhrpott, Germany Aug 31, 2008 (bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet malty and bready aroma, subtle fruity with a distinctively woody, Saaz-hoppy touch. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, slim bodied but also hearty malty taste; medium-dry, moderately sweet malty finish with a light hoppy bitterness. Slim but likeable brew (05.08.08). chmurarz (220), Raciborz, Slask, Poland Jul 16, 2008 mild and balanced, nice foam and aroma, nothing special, little less hopped than other bohemians, good shot though coldbrewky (492), Saugerties, New York, USA Jun 2, 2008 On draft at Pražský Most U Valsů, Prague 1. This was an average pilsenter with a bitextra on the hop finish. a nice foamy white head and the typical golden color. Not as balanced or as rounded as I like in bohemian pilesners but a good brew none the less on tap. Thw highback seats at the bar are nice and the beers inexpensive for Prague 1. rlgk (3014), Motala, Sweden Oct 29, 2007 Golden color, nice white head. Decent pilsner with bready and metallic aroma. Flavor brings toffee notes and metal. Quack-Duck (1755), Bodensee, Germany May 22, 2007 very full flavour for a 10° beer. Malty and fruity, slightly hoppy in the finish. It has this special taste, which you can only find in Czech beers. Very nice.
