Commercial Description:
This fine drinkable beer is an all-malted barley, American style lager. Although it’s not a "light" beer, this lager has a light body, is well balanced and is golden in color.

Draft at Buffalo Rd. brewpub. Pours clear yellow with a white head. Clean malt flavor and aroma with a light caramel note and a medium body. Simple but drinkable.

Yea, this is your standard lager to lure some people from Bud I guess. This would be nice to have after I cut my lawn this summer.

This beer was about what I’d expected it to be, which is why I’ve never ordered it in the past. Very inoffensive. Light, hazy looking, thick head. Wheaty taste. Decent palate, not real strong, malty and citrusy. Low aroma.

5 oz draught sample at the brewpub, mid-October 2006. Very pale, watery gold color with a thin touch of head but quite nice lacing....light honey-malty aroma, faint hints of fresh-mown grass....body bready-doughy, honey and cornbread, and low but quite evident dry hops, quite fresh and clean, light but absolutely refreshing mouthfeel and crisp, natural carbonation. Pretty solid effort actually.

draft at Rohrbach’s. Very pale yellow pour. This definitely looks like they are trying to make a beer that is palatable to the BMC crown. Flavor is a touch sweet with a non-offensive finish. A clean, slightly sweet version of an American standard lager. Better than any BMC however.

(draft @ Rohrbach Brewing Company - Ogden, NY) Pale and slightly foggy yellow color with a white head. Very fizzy looking. Aroma is mostly corn with some grains and a touch of hops. Flavor is mostly dry grains with some corn and a touch of hops and malt at the end. Very watery.

OK aroma, nice head. Malty and dry. Not finishable. However I agree with John that it is better than macro lagers, and I take it aimed at them. Thin mouthfeel. Sampling with John, Murtyman and the brewmaster Jim McDermott.
