2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Sampled at Empire Brewfest. Blueberries in aroma, but not overpowering unlike most beers like this. Not shabby. Transparent blonde with white head. Hints of blueberry to start, then nice bitter hops backing it up. Sort of watery and bland after that. This has some potential. This isn’t too cloying, just needs a little more help on the backside.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Had this at the Flour City Brew Fest. The malt with light hops gave it a decent body. The light Blueberry flavor at the finish was enjoyable.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Website description: A light-bodied, golden ale with a pleasant balance of hops and a hint of natural blueberry.
Tasted at Rohrbach’s summer beer festival. Mild blueberry aroma, Lots of blueberries in the palate. Fruity mild dry finish. The fruit beers stood out a bit to me as something different taste wise at the festival.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tasted at Buffalo Brewfest: A very faint hint of blueberry in the aroma and flavor. Other than that, it was a decent pale ale. The blueberry ale was very popular with the ladies at the brewfest. It was decent, but nothing spectacular.

16oz can into a pint glass.
3.0 A: Clear straw color. Two fingers of frothy white head. Retention is a touch below average and just a few wisps of lacing are left.
3.5 S: Pleasant blueberry permeates the air. There’s not much to say about the base beer. It’s clean overall, perhaps a touch grainy with a light hay component. The blueberry covers up most of it.
2.5 T: Like 98% of fruit beers, this one doesn’t commit to the blueberry. There’s enough to give it a nice aroma, but not enough to hold its own in the taste. Thus, it comes across as too watered down. Again, this is clean overall with light grassy/hay.
3.25 M: Light to lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation. Lawnmover beer drinkability.
2.75 D: Not terrible for a fruit beer, but needs either a lot more fruit or none to become a better beer.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Pours a clear amber with a generous head. Aromas of artificially flavored blueberry candy, malt. The blueberry is not as pronounced in the taste, and thank heaven for that. Finishes with a slight acidity. Decent.

Slightly hazy gold w/ tan head. Blueberry aroma w/ white pepper & caramel in the background. Soft, medium body. Spicy, almost flowery, flavour. Blueberries are evident, coming through mostly in the finish.
