Ron (737), Rochester, New York, USA May 15, 2007 Thanks to Zach for reminding me that this was still available. I stopped by on my way to my daughter’s track meet at C.C. It was slightly sweet and easy chugging cause I had to rush off to the meet. I got there when my daughter’s 1500 meter race was 1/2 way done. She was 4th of 10 girls. Hey, she’s only 8th grade. 4 more years to go. zach8270 (1404), Henrietta, New York, USA May 3, 2007 (draft @ Rohrbach’s - Ogden, NY) Pale and clear gold color with a thin but sticky white head. Aroma is very malty and slightly sweet. Some grass as well. Flavor is run of the mill, mix of malts and hops with a touch of smokey malt. Drinkable but nothing to write home about. j_b (730), Rochester, New York, USA Dec 22, 2006 A very light summery beer. Smooth malty beer with a noticeable lack of hops. Hard to say much about it. Sammy (3023), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 30, 2005 Some taste of malt, carmel, overcarbonated and thin. No appearance nor aroma. Didn’t quite work as an Irish, but they tried and here are the kegs still. Sampling with jim McDermott brewmaster boto (1207), Granby, Connecticut, USA Mar 23, 2005 Draught @ the Rohrbach Brewery: This beer pours a very pale, golden color. There was almost no head on it with almost no lacing either. The aroma was fairly thin. It was slightly floral, with a hint of malt sweetness. The taste is fairly buttery up front, with a hint of some malts. Some light sweetness in the aftertaste. This doesn’t taste much like an Irish Ale. I think they were going for something like Caffrey’s, but that nasty buttery taste ruins it. Hard to finish.
