decaturstevo (1271), decatur, Tennessee, USA Sep 23, 2008 Light amber pour with off white head and lace. Malt and almost bourbon-barrell aroma. Medium malt with a bit of an off bitter. Thin and foamy not really special but pretty solid. McGarnigle (179), Rochester, New York, USA Aug 7, 2008 Draft at ballgame. Served headless. Seemed fairly fresh. Colorful body, highly fizzed and light bodied. Some caramel malts, slender hops. Slightly metallic. Pretty good lager. blipp (809), Grand Island, New York, USA May 9, 2008 Draft at Jine’s on Park Ave. in Rochester. Pours clear amber with a thin beige head. Aroma is light caramel and barley. Medium body. Flavor is lightly roasted malt, caramel, toast and the faintest hint of hops. Nice. Ritterkreuz (170), Seneca Falls, New York, USA Oct 4, 2007 Found this one at a local Italian place called Bazil’s in Rochester, NY. It reminded me somewhat of a Sam Adam’s Boston Lager. It is a clear, reddish amber, with a well balance flavor, allowing you to taste both the hops and the malt at the same time. The same can be said of the aroma. swoopjones (1176), Buffalo, New York, USA Aug 11, 2007 12oz bottle. medium amber color. little to no head, light malt flavor. hops not evident. ok
